I sort of concurred with Singaporegal and thought this counter was downtrending and got it out of my radar. Well, as well said by all, TA is not 100% foolproof.  What I like best of all is Singaporegal's humility in admitting her call was wrong.   Inspite of that, do keep your post coming cos I've learnt lots from you!!

keep up the good work s'poregal, I have benefitted from your post. Nobody is 100% right all the time or else we would all be millionaire by now.

Dear windoz99,

I do not claim to be a forecast goddess.

My accuracy is about 70% and I post according to what I see in the TA charts at that point in time. This of course means I am wrong 30% of the time. TA charts are fluid and can change direction in a matter of days.
That is why I have strict stop loss rules. Usually my sequence of trades will be like this..

Profit, Profit, Loss, Profit, Profit, Profit, Loss, Profit .... etc..

The trick is to try to maximise the profitable trades and minimise the loss making one.

Do not trade shares based on my reading alone or any other forummers. What is posted in the forum is good FYI only.

I am glad to say that I was wrong about SembMar.

nobody can guarantee 100% accuracy. singaporegal post according to her interpretation. Bearing in mind, TA deals in probabilities not certainties. Trade with care.

ai yo.. a successful trader is one who profits utimately no one can be 100% correct because in the market you can only make assumptions base on historical data and trends plus news. I believe her success rate is at least 70% if not more. Even George Soros made losses. Do not buy base on her judgement, because end of the day its your money. Play at your own risk.

If Singaporegal knows everything she should be called singapore goddess instead. In the forum take everything with a pinch of salt. I recalled once for Olam she forcasted a down trend but it went north. I wonder what is her success rate?

Hi kawaiiboi, your "divergence" refer to TA? If you are talking about TA, the charts didn't show any divergence as of today. As for the new record high thingie, I do not have any comments.

Hi ksjlmp, singaporegal is doing a lot of us here a very good favour by constantly posting/answering other forumeers requests whenever she can. And since she is pure TA, she would only post what she would see from those charts. As elfin had said, TA trend is "determined" by those "big-boys/manipulators", so maybe that can explain why "bearish" sembmar can turn bullish. I also posted "bearish" symptons a few days ago due to the conditions of the chart. Even the best TA player that I knew of sometimes can really be "played out" by those "manipulators". Have you heard of "clashes" between banks? They also got the "best" traders but why sometimes those "best" traders still lose out?

Itrader, don't mention it. If I can be of any wee wee help to you, just let me know. Actually the "double bottom buy" can be quite accurate but how long the pricing can continue upwards remain on the "cooking skills" of manipulators liao. Just take a look at Celestial frm 28 Dec 06 to 3 Jan 07 and you will understand what I meant.

Spotted that it may reach $3.50 this week, but was too busy with work to have time to monitor.

Hi iTrader, double bottom buy "occurs" when the "bottom" was trading outside the bottom band (11 - 12 Jan), then signal "confirmed" when it "crosses" above the "middle line" (29 Jan). Covergence "occurs" from period 29 Jan - 1 Feb when prices goes up, but A/D Lines goes down.

when u look at the historical chart there are identical downward convergence this month and it manage to pick up due to the fact demand is still there as for the double buy its the demand that push back the price ya he is trying to say there is a cycle going on where now we are near to the tip of the systematic cycle.

Hi rouge_trader, what is "double-bottom buy follow by a decline as the convergence had shown"?. Could you illustrate with the chart?. thanks
