ST report today that it dropped price for its 99 yr lease Dakota Residence development from the expect $1,000 - 1,100 psf to $950 psf. The estimated land and construction cost is about $950 psf ....i.e not much margin. If response is poor, they may have to drop price further.

today drop is purely The Straits Times news for Dakota Residences selling price, it is a 99 years leasehold project by Ho Bee and NTUC... they target to sell $1,000 p.s.f to $1,100 p.s.f, but now start to sell at about $950 p.s.f. next Saturday... worst still, a property agent, unnamed, said after the land cost and building cost, the break-even price is actually almost $900 p.s.f.
oh well, if it hits lower and lower... maybe I will do cost averaging.
anybody wish to share on ur views towards Ho Bee today...it hit 52-week low today but close above it...the volume is on a higher than average

I invested at one of its lowest point. This counter is still cheap. There's only one direction.. that is UP !
I don't go for short term, i intend to keep for at least 2-3 years time, set my target as $1.90.
JJ, jux wondering if u got a personal profit target for Ho Bee?

VESTED !
this morning i tried posting "copy & paste" (but seem to have some technical error like in Golden Agri thread) some recommendations by CIMB giving Ho Bee an outperform...and also fellow forum member "Tweety" recommendation (i think it was a call from DBS to buy Ho Bee)....
Buyer of Ho Bee Investment shares | Date of purchase | No. of shares purchased | Average price/share (S$) |
Total value (S$) | Total Shareholding |
Ho Bee Holdings |
14-03-2008 | 300,000 | 0.895 | 259,500 | 476,395,000 (64.61 %) |
13-03-2008 | 750,000 | 0.919 | 689,250 | ||

Do the insiders have a message to the market?
buy queues constantly changing.
Last | Trades | Volume | BuyVol | Mid | SellVol |
0.950 | 1 | 77,000 | 0 | 0 | 77,000 |
0.955 | 51 | 672,000 | 185,000 | 0 | 487,000 |
0.960 | 1 | 50,000 | 0 | 0 | 50,000 |
TOTAL | 53 | 799,000 | 185,000 | 0 | 614,000 |
this morning once again saw twice false queue...so early in the morning already got this sign...after dropping from initial opening price...around 9.50+am the buy queue of $0.955 jump to 125,000 shares...then the next moment down to 30 lots only...
noticed there were false buy queues...at one point see got long queue...later on disappear ...anyway looking at the volume yesterday and today...it is super thin.
the recent low volume is at 1.11million on 7 Apr...yesterday 1.13million...then today i guess we will see lowest volume since mid-February ...definitely only a 6-digit figure...less than a mill.
anybody bought recently?
Not attending since this counter will go up.
Ho Bee AGM is on 29 April 08, 10.30am at their office.....so anyone attending???

Breaking out soon ...
