Hmm I dun think its a good decision to short at the moment as the trading range very narrow. There should be no major news to impact it share price at the moment unless BB decide to sell out which maybe unlikely. It will boils down to the 2Q results.

You reall should just wait and see.  Personally were I to take any action on this stock I would short it.  Recently on a trip to the states I heard several managers in on of the Osim owned Brookstone stores talking....there were not saying good things about their jobs or the company... If it were just some store it would be easy to dismiss, but one of the members was a high ranking corporate guy.  Osim will go down till the IPO is out and that part of the Osim empire is no longer a huge burden or ron's.  trying to merge the technical and fundamental i think osim might drop to .4 - .6 by the end of this year..if everything happens as expected, great and that will trigger a buy signal

Something interesting is happening to Osim. Relatively large volumes today with price increase. Keep watching this counter.

Bollinger bands are very very tight now. They are almost touching! Some large price change is coming soon.

I suppose there's not much light at the end of the tunnel for this counter... :(

face it, if they have any new products that really can sell well, I bet a few weeks later, u'll see imitations all around labelled "Made in China" selling at half the price Osim does...you do the maths...

I have the same thoughts as yours...

But things would be different if a fantastic new product comes onto the scene. All it takes is one great 'epoch-making' product to change everything!

(Unfortunately, the iGallop did not make it to people's hearts).

Funny thing, whenever I pass by an Osim shop, I do NOT see much customers around. Only customers I see are mostly tired shoppers trying to take advantage on the massage chairs just to ease their tireness after the hours of windows shopping. The products they sell are mostly over priced, and alot of "imitations" products are selling at a more competitive price. To be frank, I don't even understand why their stock is able to maintain at the present price. Don't think its a good counter for long term investment.

Another great Osim product I love (beside the iGallop) is the "Tappie".

This below $100 gem is one hell of a powerful hand massager despite it's size. It really hammers it's way to one's well-being. You simply press it harder for a harder massage.

I call it the "massage chair in a stick"... :)
