Agreed with Risktaker. If someone is supporting a counter, it will eventually move up, even if we don't want it to be up, it will still be up.

Actually Raffles hit a bottom at 25.5 cents and shot up to a peak of 70 cents, I should know since I bought at 41 cents (saw it plunge down to its bottom) and sold it off at 65cents in June.
Its been trending downwards since August though - irrational fear or something ugly festering?

RafflesEdu was 0.40 during 08-Apr-2009, but now 0.375... Usually others Counters were v low during 08-Apr-2009. But only RafflesEdu... Kindly see sm Counters as follows;
- Genting SP - during 08-Apr-2009 was 0.596 & now oredi 1.16...
- Biosensors - during 08-Apr-2009 was 0.385 & now oredi 0.75...
- Epure Int - during 08-Apr-2009 was 0.315 & now oredi 0.775...
- Rotary - during 08-Apr-2009 was 0.355 & now oredi 1.02...
- Hiap Seng - during 08-Apr-2009 was 0.195 & now oredi 0.62...
I might hurt sm pple here who r still holding RafflesEdu. But tis' e fact...

Eventually it rebounded to reach a high of 70cts. I took profit at 65 cents since it was fairly valued based on FA and the CEO had stopped buying at 54 cents.
The downtrend now reminds me of REC 1 month prior the announcement of Oriental Century scandal. I am most likely wrong, but I won't be surprised if another negative development is taking place as we speak. The main difference between March and now is that the CEO ain't buying shares..

I am still holding on to my Noble Group shares despite sitting on paper profit. If you believe in the direction that the Management and the Company is heading and its financial performance pays testament to its ability to keep growing, then hold on to it. Technically, this only applies to blue chip companies since most Mid Cap counters listed here are fundamentally weak. Similarly, if your stock price keep dropping and its financial performance is nothing to be proud of, please cut loss and exit. Very few companies have managed to grow their revenues and profits in 2009 (mind you, I am talking about non-cyclical business). If you find any, please let me know!
