still the same advise....do not sell early (which is the most common mistake of layman investors) and let it run till $1.02 (or even $1.20)...good luck and not for contra 

 

Some is likely to have taken profit liao, some left for tomorro and tomorro is seen to be for the brave one to continues to take a chance for greater and more profit, anyway those bot today, happy trading liao :) take care.

 

When Genting hit a dollar or more, take profit for coming day, like SC when it oso hit 33% in captial gain.:)

I believe that casino is always a money making businesses, look at Macua, many casinos but they have overtaken Las Vegas Strip and making big money.

 

Frankly, I'm very sceptical about Macquarie's valuation of S$1.57.  First, it's a big investment and Genting is already having difficulty to raise the funds.  Second, they always forget that there will eventually be 2 casinos (including Sands in Marina South).  In other words, competition will be fierce and earnings will have to be shared amongst these 2 players.  What about the existing Genting Highlands?  Either the Malaysian government may eventually close it down (because of strong Muslim opposition) or definitely its revenue will be affected.  Anyway, this is a very speculative counter.

 

Wah, TP $1.57, better grab for day 2 cheonging....cheers.

 

Unlikely will reach S$1 today, most likely close at 89 - 90cents.....but tomorrow should rise in the morning......better grab some before tomorrow

Genting surged after Macquarie started coverage for shares of the gaming firm with a tp of $1.57 and an "outperform" recommendation.

Macquarie analyst Edward Ong said in a note he expects Genting's Sentosa casino project to be a "runaway success", due to factors like the wealthy domestic population and competitive tax rates.

Macquarie's Ong highly recommended that long-term investors accumulate Genting shares, and added he is "looking at a more than 10-fold increase in EBITDA over the next 5 years".

 

Dear Friends. Genting will close above $1 by 5pm. The reason of its resistance is partially because of speculation too. Those who played long enough in the market should know that news will only be out the following day. It's definately not amazing that the price went too high up. Just that it took a longer time after correction. Whether the information that i got is true, depends at 5pm tonight. It is way ahead of the rest in the HIGH VOL LIST  ... probably have a lot more upside space.
