I can only say the government is not so good as they claim. Any country that ended up to open a casino will always mean that the government is not able to generate enough money for the country especially to feed themselves. The social issue will destroy the country sooner. Anyway it is too late....
Where got so good one. End of the day, they are trying to
entice ppls to go to the casinos to gamble. One of their
sales & marketing strategy.

Genting Singapore (G13.SG) off 0.6% at $1.81, succumbing to light profit-taking after yesterday's multi-year high of $1.82, says Dow Jones.
Modest volume indicates underlying demand still intact, with 10-day moving average, last at $1.75, expected as support. “Although GENS has already performed very well, upside on market size expectations (for Resorts World Sentosa) and further re-rating can drive further upside in our view,” says UBS, which has Buy call with $2.02 target. Still, after robust 2Q10 earnings performance, CIMB says growth in coming quarters should moderate, with rival Las Vegas Sands' Marina Bay Sands turning more aggressive in marketing “as it is unlikely to settle for less than its fair share of the market”.
Keeps at Outperform with $1.88 target. |

MPs not allow to visit casino, jealous mah.....anyway, even w/o free bus services, public trpt is nothing campared to the $100 entrance fee. Many Sg paid $2000 annual fee as member for one year....retirees can play, cheap food and aircond (an escape from the hot weather) on unlimited visits -- much like a social club. Bar Sg visit is better alt to downplay encouragement.

IR people not stupid to break the gaming rules.
Most Sg especially retirees will go Genting M to play, free rooms, cheap food, cold air etc. where to find these goodies anymore.
