Hi Victorf
U predicted a rally for Genting, based on TA. Salute your fantastic TA skill . Crystal ball gazing skill applied as well? What is your TA on Starcruise shares? Seems to be uptrending together with Genting? Any prediction? According to two brokers, downtrend reversal soon.

not much excitement...
Maybe the counter will close flat or at current level...strong selling pressure at current level...just my opinion..
Seems determined for it's journey towards $1.50.
I fully agree with the expert ..... Macquarie's outperform recommendation on GenInt ... DCF value is $1.57 per share .....
Playing this stock certaily feels like following a favourite horse on the turf !... :)
i say again do not sell early...let it run...brewing "news" on the way...good luck
guess is not only the Mac Report that boost it up.....
The news where Myanmar has suggested to Singapore that it could be a long-term supplier of sand, cement, granite and other construction materials give another vigra injection to uncle L.
Dear Goolfire,
May i know where you get the info on volume from?
"If we were to raise this to to 2 bln sgd, our discounted-cash-flow-based price
target rises to 2.08 sgd per share. This would not be unrealistic,"
I think anything is possible with the gold mine(casino) in place.

SINGAPORE (XFN-ASIA) - Macquarie Research Equities says it has started covering
Genting International Ltd with an "outperform" rating and a target price of 1.57 sgd per share. Although valuations for Genting International appear excessive, the company has the potential to boost its earnings substantially when the casino resort it is building on Sentosa island here opens in 2010, Macquarie said in a note to clients. "We are highly positive on Sentosa in the long term. We believe that Sentosa will be a runaway success because of various factors, including a wealthy domestic population and large hinterland, competitive tax rates, strong attractions and world-class infrastructure," Macquarie said. "We therefore highly recommend [that] long-term investors who are interested in playing the Singapore growth story accumulate Genting International shares. We are looking at a more than tenfold increase in earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortization over the next five years." Macquarie said it estimated, conservatively, that revenue for the Sentosa casino resort in its first year of operation would be around 1.5 bln sgd. "If we were to raise this to to 2 bln sgd, our discounted-cash-flow-based price target rises to 2.08 sgd per share. This would not be unrealistic," it said. At the end of the morning session, Genting International was up 0.105 sgd or 12.88 pct at 0.92, with 165.53 mln shares traded. (1 usd = 1.51 sgd) singapore@xfn.com |
