hahaha.........from stock to bread talk.  Can also go hotel buy cake, they usually offer half price after 10pm.....e.g. Amara hotel, (dont know now still have this offer).

It would be nice if  there is  a small mid-autum rally to bring STI to one step higher....Imagine eating mooncake in Shenton way at SGX building under the sunlight while watching the rally....but, if no rally, then eat mooncake under moonlight and pray to the moon.......hahaha

For those daredevils and gutsy ones, they will buy on dips for they still belive there is a last 'fun' rally to come.

today, for some want to cut,right? and also it hit the trailing for some, right? but i suggest give more room for volitality.

u know the mermaid is easily to push,

i am looking at 1.4 to 1.5 pre rights....post rights definitely higher...near analyst px..

 

DBS Vickers Securities in a Sept 22 research report says:
"Mermaid has announced 9-for-20 rights share issue to raise gross proceeds of $156 million,
or net proceeds of $152 million. We estimate that Mermaid would have a cash hoard of
US$192 million by end FY2009 (FYE September) for acquisition opportunities; post rights
share issuance.

"With this newly raised equity, Mermaid agrees with our view that any distressed asset acquisition
could occur within a 3-6 months time frame, and also adds that any strategic company acquisition
may occur within the next 12 months. We have rolled forward our valuation metrics to 9x and 12x
blended FY2010/2011 PE (FYE September) for Mermaid’s subsea engineering and drilling businesses,
respectively, on higher chance of near term price catalyst. Hence, our target price is raised to $1.71.
The fully diluted target price (ex-rights adjustment) is $1.18. MAINTAIN BUY."

i really cannot understand, that though you got handsome profit, the counter down a a few %...and you feel u are losing....

in fact ,u are losing the casino money, not yours...in the first place..

with this type of mentality..i suggest u dont read my post and follow..u will lose..i believe u hold very tight..never want to take profit..fall in love with it..

if i can remember, u bought mermaid at 90c...and sitting on 32% gain...and u tok like a loser...

even if it go down another 10% u are still in fat profit...
