What to do...better safe than sorry...built up their buffer for contingency needs....
What is happening to all our banks? They collect billiions of dollars in pref shares and then hentak-kaki ....
I took a peek at the other global banks, they too sitting down-trodden also after getting multi-billion dollar injections from GIC, Temasek, etc. (Is it true GIC and Temasek together lost more than $10 billion so far in their investments into foreign banks?) Walao, looks like no more handouts from Govt next year leow if investments don't recover soon.
No strength for the upward thrust....

DBS still hold on well to its foothold....don't understand why UOB was pushed down to $18.94 last minute resulting in a lost of 98 cents for the day....
