That happened bcos I queued overnight and no time to monitor. So got it by default. If I monitor, I may just withdraw if I see HK breaks down 7c. lol. Mine is not skill lah. Your's is real skill. I am more the research, study some more, then buy, then buy more, then buy more, then keep LT until target hit. I think I am more suitable for mid cap. So hopefully HK reaches mid cap soon, lol. Again by mistake, I hit lah. Trading, I jialat, either lose brokerage or 1-2 bits.

You collected at 6.8cts for your ST..thats even better than me. I got to learn from you. lol. now you already earn a profit from your ST trade.

Thanks, leeeta. Will monitor closely and make exit if it is proven a wrong move. I remain interested in Hankore but just 'stubborn' until I see it testing near 50D MA. Like I said, it needs not necessary mean dropping to 6.3c. As the 50D MA is trending upwards, it can trade sideway and the 50D MA will still 'get near' its price and that will be the timing that I will consider re-entry.

Dabbled with IPCO in the past - made some and lost some. Made some when there was speculation 12 or 15 yrs ago that their divestiture of asset will reap some RMB or SGD 200M.. could not remember, and lost all   when they stated that cash from the asset sale will not go to shareholders as bonuses. Shareprice   tanked. Thats my first lesson of not knowing how to get out from a ST trade. From   20cts to now 2ct+.. it has never given any dividends. This company placed a lot of shares and rights every couple of months..and with big names Datuk Zaid, Edward Lee having   a pie in it as well, the share never really did spike up until recently when   there was a classic pump and dump during the penny run. Even though it has   expanded into gas business, shareholders will not be rewarded..coz IPCO does now know how to make a handsome profit from their investment and does not know how to reward shareholders (could have sold Blumont and cash out with 200M).   No longer vested and never will. If you are itchy for IPCO, then do a ST trade when there is momentum..otherwise, share can trend side ways longer than HK. My 2 cents only.

lucky, HK won't trade at her NAV if not for Alan & DBS MTN, followed by non-rated analysts' reports. I won't be surprised it is still at 4c+ like many moons ago. Your 50D thingy may or may not happen as BBs also draw their own chart. It's their game & their call. Look at the volume, throwing up and down in big lots, what logic except probably to keep HK at top 30. Pres O, Dem & Rep about to give up their iron teeth. May be it is time for you to be less iron teeth as being iron teeth doesn't help you to make money but its' BB, and soon larger fund managers. Like you said before, once cruise pass 10mile, HK will attract many high net worth suitors. All the best for your IPCO trade, hopefully ST not become LT.

Now HK forum more & more traders. HK's BBs enjoying range trading, now dance tango 7.3-7.8.   Don't know will tango until 17 Oct or 14 Nov. May let go my ST collected at 6.8c for kopi lui, & see whether can catch BB's tango rhythm. If not, then dance cha cha cha with BB for MT.

HK's BBs not v generous, let retail ride on their coat tails. Want to earn must buy and hold long term. This stock only for v good traders able to glue their eyes to the screen. Otherwise sure get fried(shortist) or conned(contra long).

Think the NTA dropped with the recent drop of the 3 musketeers. I hope the 3 musketeers will come out clean from any SGX investigation and if so, the NTA should recover but maybe not to 8.

Lucky03      ( Date: 09-Oct-2013 19:35) Posted:

I entered 2.3c. NTA is 8c and profitable for last 2 or 3 yrs with spike in revenue from natural gas development last FY. I avoided Blumont and Asiaon. No proven fundamental, just anticipation. In case any scandal uncovered and the stock suspended again and if this happens, may be for much longer time. I have my doubt if their management has the experience to run the new outfit of a much larger and complex outfit spanning across the region with many regulatory constrains and taxation issues to grabble with, not to mention corporate governance and management oversight and control. Bottomline, risk is not worth taking though gains may be very attractive.

I shall not post more on IPCO here so as not to distract the focus on Hankore in this track.

Generally, environmental protection industry and clean energy are safe opportunities with good growth potential. Hankore may just need some time to digest. It should see some renewed excitement as it approaches its Q1 result announcement around 14 Nov. In the meantime, I've entered IPCO first as I'm interested in their new found natural gas developments by its subsidiary and commitment of business strategy to focus on natural gas developments in China. The price correction is a good opportunity to enter.
