This morning heard on CNA that Ron Sim vows to bring the company up stronger than before by end of year.

Perhaps it is time to collect while nobody is interested? Cannot underestimate Ron. He delivers what he says most of the time .....

agree!  When the going gets tough, the tough gets going. same goes for creative.  not vested.

For this kind of business, where competition is quite keen, one way to stand out is to continue

to invent and introduce innovative products to the marketplace on a regular basis (notwithstanding the fate of the iGallop),

otherwise stagnation can be expected.

Hi singaporegal, technically not very firm on it yet as Ron's activties has formed the primary resistance on the pricing. If BB were to push further, the resistance level will be lowered again, pls correct me if I am wrong. Cheers.

worst net worth = 0.25, so the brand esitmate to cost abt 0.45to arrive at current price. brookstone wc is bt US100m,quarter burn rate is 10m except for december quarter 30-40m +addition. if worst case, wc 100m can last abt 2.5 years if losing money every quarters. interesting to note that they r selling panasonic chair ...

That's how the market react, rewarding Co that do the right things at the right time by pushing the stock price thru the roof. And punishing those that do otherwise, fall like there is no tom.

ya know, i don't think ron sim is showing confidence in his counter as much as he's showing a 'this is my baby, i'm not going to let it die' mentality. the way this appears, i do believe he'd be willing to bankrupt himself just to shore up his baby.

hats off to him, really. this kind of businessman, rare to find nowadays. respect....

It's a rather sad story... :)

Anyway, like they say...

For instance...

Despite his good intentions, the world is not ready to recognize the true benefit of the "iGallop", other than the shallow and superficial (crowds) aspects.

osim techs:

it had actually stabilised at abt the 0.71 mark, but somehow broke below that today/yesterday. going by the jump in volume, likely some big shareholder sold off some. (did not see busd data tho, so pls confirm this independently..).

ron sim is vesting in more just to make sure his company's shares doesn't go down too much. but it remains a qn of how much he can shore it up to tho. 52% is an incredible figure already.

but it goes to show the measure of the man, really. utmost respect to him.

although respect is respect, money is money: i wouldn't vest in osim as yet. Bollies are tightening yet again. going by a/d, c/o, and williams, a further drop is likely in order.

c'mon ron sim....elf is rooting for you....divest the damn brookstone already. argh.

Sigh...... this counter finally broke its bottom line of $0.70.  Next, its down target trial will be $0.65.  If this really happened, we would have to forget about this counter for a long long time.  Believe many of us have got into its trap.  Well, you have to consider other counters to make profits to cover this annoying counter's loss.
