It wont go over singtel, given the national telecomm. singtel now only 2.5
Telecommunication is a necessity in this thriving society...with or without this new contract...it will still hold its ground...very firmly.
think it is poised to go higher already... think some pple betting on it winning the contract... got huge married deal also... just got vested :)
Now only this blue chip never rise.Think is the chance to get in before the bb

issued on 7 April 2008 and closed on 5 December 2008 with submissions
from the following:
1.IntelliNet Consortium (comprising Axia NetMedia Corporation and
Cisco Systems International BV)
2.MobileOne Ltd
3.Singapore Telecommunications Ltd
4.StarHub Ltd
IDA is now evaluating the bids and the winning bid is scheduled to be
announced by the 1st Quarter 2009. For more information on business
opportunities with the Next Gen NBN, please e-mail
broadband@ida.gov.sg.

tis counter iam watching the movement is going to downtrend
good entry at $1.96? how was the dividend last yr? how much?

both of you got a point there.
some rich ppl are still holding on to their positions since bought in last year end but that's becos they can stomach the fluctuations, some even average down.
while some rich ppl wait for opportunities, they buy in hugh vol after every big sell down.
back to topic, hope you guys bought last fri still holding on for better returns.
In any case, trade within your means.
My point is you are wrong to say if got cash can buy at any price.
Becos rich people/investors are in fact even more prudent than the typical average punter/gambler!

Mine I intend to hold for mid to long-term both for attractive dividends & share price upside.
Now put money in my FD , the interest is so miserable.
