If u are new acct, normally they wun give high limit unless u substantiate with some document such as income statement, income tax, cdp holdings etc.
50k to start off is not unreasonable la, but sometimes buy 1 counter also not enough....cheers

If you have worth 500k stock in CDP account, they will give you more than 500k sell limit, otherwise if you want to sell all you stock in one time, you can't do it. And they are most welcome you sell off any time right?!
So if its, they will open a 500k buy limit for you as well. Even up to 800k!

currently i am holding account with uob kayhian and they given me $32k buying limit and $40k selling limit to start off with. i asked why not more and they mentioned they will only increase once my account has seen more trades.
how much trading limits u guys have now, if ok to share the info. thanks! |
