will laugh to the bank for this counter in this quater after STATS counter in last quarter :)...already said "do not sell early" which is common mistake of many layman investor....good luck

Singapore said Monday it was no longer concerned about Genting International Ltd.'s (G13.SG) business integrity after the casino operator took measures to clear its links to a Macau tycoon.

This is good news, Gen Int is ready to surge. All vested, sit tight for the ride. 

 

man... i was still hoping to accumulate a bit more at 0.905-0.915 today... then suddenly at noon the price shoot up... But better that I profit with what I have now than nothing :)

Singapore says gives Genting Int''l casino all clear

SINGAPORE, April 16 (Reuters) - The Singapore government on
Monday gave gambling firm Genting International  the
go-ahead to build a casino, following extended probity checks
after the group announced links with Macau tycoon Stanley Ho.

  "There is no issue now. We are only looking at our
jurisdiction - who the partners and shareholders participating in
Resorts World Sentosa are," said Minister for Trade and Industry
Lim Hng Kiang.

   Lim was speaking at the ground-breaking ceremony for the $3.4
billion casino project, called Resorts World Sentosa, which
Genting International plans to build on Singapore''s Sentosa
island.

   Genting International and sister company Star Cruises Ltd
<0678.HK> -- which are both controlled by Malaysia''s
Genting Bhd  -- in December won a bid to build
Singapore''s second casino.

   But the gambling group upset the Singapore authorities when
it unveiled a tie-up with Macau casino tycoon Ho a month later.

   GentingInternational later withdrew from a Macau partnership
with Ho, although Star Cruises remained in the deal.
