My personal view : In order to fully appreciate and implement Trade Secrets Video whole-heartedly u should have " been there and have done that " experience. For that u need to have gathered the basic knowledge . Its like driving the Porche . Before that u need to have the basic driving skills , have had knocked here and there , cleared ur doubts etc... and then when u are handed the Porche ... wow ! .... u know what to do !

If you had been straight away given the Porche ... being human and curious and doubtful ... u might damage urself by trying to act smart ..tweak here and there ... so ....beginners give urself time and explore .

The market is always there.

oh yes forget to tell u, usually my trade will close with 1-3 std lots, rarely am i able to add up to 10 lots. in fact i only do it once and that was not with 10 std lots but with 10 mini lots, i was trading smaller lots as i am still pretty new then.

tomolo should have many trades based on Trade Secrets Video System , since u have it, let benefit it from it tomolo

genie wouldnt work as well on forex as stock. Trade secret vids will work better. if genie that good, you wouldnt have the need to get any new ebooks and systems. www.Stockcharts.com is free more than enough on stocks and confirmed better than genie which need to be paid.

however i am sure  Trade Secrets Video System will be a better buy for trading on forex, stocks, commodities etc. In fact i like anyone who have both genie and Trade Secrets Video System to come here and post reviews abt the two. reviews by me alone may not fair and enough to proof my point. In fact i am sure techniques in Trade Secrets Video System itself is sufficient for one to trade profitably enough on most markets.

Nevertheless genie 1st 2 chapterof genie is a good read thou for psychology of trading thou

Hi Mani,

Wow 30K!

I only started with 1k as a beginner. Size does matter. Ask Cashier.

With this 1k, I netted about $140 per week. ie $560 a month. If I have $30k, it would approximately be $16800 a month. However, if I have 30k, I would still start with 1 mini lot and slowly build up to 1 standard lot when my skill improve.

In her book, Toni Turner wrote "the stock market crash of 2000 sent equity traders scampering to find new trading products. That's one reason global currency markets, also known as fores, has enjoyed a newfound popularity among traders."

I guess now is the time for me stay away from equity and trade Forex. Dow is erractic and I often got burned.

Try it. Practice trading with 1 mini lot. Earn money while learning.

I use ebook Master Trader and Forex Freedom for money manager strategies. Coupled with Dynamic TNT's technical strategies. Key in my trade, key in my stop level and key in my profit target then go to sleep. Next morning, richer by hundred plus. KISS.

Cheers

No, I dun really believe using the same indicators for all trades.

however there is few indicators which is used. MA and MACD

However the key to trade is to know what you are trading and the characteristic of it, then u will know what tools to use.

http://www.fxcm.com/collect-positive-rolls.jsp

above shows how to trade carry trade and explain rollover

yah just realised i typo error, yah i shorted UsdYen, not UsdSwiss. Thanks

for Usdchf, rollover is lower at around $10 (1 pip) per std lot. looking to short usdchf however still waiting for a better price to enter.

also to point out something abt USDYen trade, the pair is influeneced by DOW performance, hence i may abort the trade if DOW rallied or go bullish and switch to short UsdSwiss or long eurusd

yah i calculated that. as the USDJPY daily trade can be alot of volume, i think it should be profitable enought to cover the carry trade cross. as i expecting this trade TP should last max not more than 3 weeks (personal view not inducement to trade)

anyway the swap or rollover rate is not as high as 6 to 10 pips. it is around 1-2 pips per nite. however on wed it will be 3-6pips as the interest for sat and sun is counted on wed. basically i am paying ard $13 (or 1.3 - 2 pips) per standard lot for USDYen per nite.

Cahsiertan

Did you short USDJPY at 109.01? USDCHF is still trading above 1.10.

Shorting JPY crosses is currently a favourable tactic but you pay 'negative interest' (between 6-10 pips/day) the longer you hold the position. Basically the opposite of what you would earn in so called 'carry trades'.

But shorting is only most lucrative if one shorts when the market is still bull...

To short when recession is evident and bears are all over the place is not a juicy proposition, but only has meagre profit potential...

That's what "buy low sell high" is all about... Smiley

every trade is lucrative if u know the rules of playing it to have higher probability of winning.

stock market can be lucrative if STI goes into recession, can make alot faster shorting!

Baseer,

if u are busy, just trade based on 4 hours chart, allow u little maintenance and also huge profit but of coz slightly higher risk

but if u follow what the ebooks u bought with me, and combined the essence of it strategy, i am sure you can easily earn few hundreds of pips ($1 to $10 per pip) per mth. seriously, i have good result with the ebooks we buy together.

Entered Short Uschf yesterday near 109.01. Tprice :  105.00 , yes i aiming 400 pips profits, i giving it maybe some days to few weeks to reach that price. after that price, i will close 70% as profit and keep 30% to test 100.00. yah, i now position trading as i need less time to monitor.

Why? simple, i expect US to cut interest rates in next Fed Meeting this month. 2nd, TA signal to short. cut lost at 109.71

wow !

wow!

wow!wow!wow!

casually had been looking at daily and 1hr charts of gbpusd for the last few days (without even reading up on forex news .. flying blind, so to speak) ..and made this observation : TA must have been build for this ..provided one can zoom in on the right combinations of patterns and indicators ..wow ! ..the power of TA !

or may be it was just beginners luck ? ! .... need to roll up the sleeves and do some more observations and more reading up on forex ..and set out some time to look into those videos and ebooks shared with cashiertan!

mmmm .. i am reminded of the invitation sometimes back extended by Kilroy (hope I got the right person ) to elfinchilde to make use of her TA skills on forex .... mmmm .. ( hope she is reading this ..hahaha !)

----------------------------

(note: this is not an inducement .. just a personal observation ..posted in good faith ...if u are not properly equipped .. this Ali Baba's cave can morph into a landmine instantly .. be warned .... hahaha ! )
