When BB playing the market up, they will push for the price to close at its high with the hope it will open higher next day to sell off. Conversely, when they shorts, they will push it to close at its low so that it will go lower the next day to buy back. Assuming they are intraday shorts and hence covered back same day and they can't sell and buy back by same trading account, then it will mean whoever was generating double the volume or 41k lots x 2 or 82k lots out of the total of 102k lots. This is really very strange. It is unlikely some insider knowledge as they will unlikely covered back intraday. There is also only 11k lots available for borrowing and insufficient for covering. There is no SGX Buy-In. The likely explanation is speculators trying to make some quick bucks. They will run out of steam soon as each time they pressed it lower by a bid or 2, the risk increased and the spring back will be stronger and the chance of not able to run fast enough to cover short position amd hence being burnt. They are fortunate that there usually no announcement or trading halt intraday so as long as they can cover back intraday, they are quite safe. Hope a day for some positive news that trading halt happened during the day and these shortists will be burnt very very badly !!!

The scale is tipping to other end. More buying might start tomorrow w shortist reducing from previous 4 tick down to today's 2 tick down.

Trading down day by day is really not a good sign.
