Is Biosensors a good buy?

Seem like back to basic, today it's down on profit taking to $0.68cts

 

If it's up again on Mon, good to take profit liao, then shortise can come to short and support at d old px again, given Mon most counter is green.  My  take on Biosensor, it settle about unchange or up 0.005-0.01 cents 

 

Tested $0.67 cents, hope it won't go down too much, if not  it'll be down for U and me, like wise, that is why it portfolio exit liao from K1 vertur.

 

Haha. I got a bad post rating for saying correctly that to wait for prices to stabilise first. It doesn't matter. I'll continue to write what I think is right, even if you don't agree with me and give me a bad post rating. This is not the first time anyway.

Since then, the price has continued to fall to $0.67 today.

The COO has quit, suggesting that things have not been going well at the company that has competitors such as Boston Scientific, Johnson & Johnson / Guidant.

Its licensing revenue declined sharply, Sales revenue had ballooned the last fiscal year, but that's global sales. Its drug-eluting stents have not taken off, especially in Europe.

Expenses (especially marketing and R&D) almost doubled from a year ago, resutting in a net loss. Avoid.

 

It is been push up by big boys with deep pocket to spare so as to off load, let see tomorro, today hope some small boys can off load liao.

 

Biosensor sub dive again, jus wondering will it dive for d 3rd X ?

 

Continued to reel from forced/margin and contra selling after its shocking bad results dragged by higher expenses. The management meeting apparently failed to impress and the delay in the award of the key CE mark for its BioMatrix product coupled with higher clinical trial expenses could mean another downbeat year ahead in FY07.

Should have listened to my advice to wait a few days for it to stabilise.

 

Fell $0.095 today to $0.72. Almost reach recent low of $0.715.

 

Another sub dive to $0.765 b4 short been cover to $0.79, -ve 0.25cts

 

Hi teeth53,  stock option is common for staff & management of public listed companies so cannot interpret the price basing on option price.  Last night  rec'd report fm Citigroup stating price overdone as delay in CE mark is common.  I will wait till the price to stabilize before jumping-in.  Now still erratic as fluctuate between 78 cts to 93 cts in just one day ( yesterday ).

 

US$0.36cts x S$1.582 ==S$0.56952cts. Back to basic. Once again Biosensor is going for another sub dive.

 

Yu just exercised 8 million share option at US 36 cents. At current price he is sitting on profit. At current price, who is losing money? Remember Genemetric share listing, check the price now, less than 10% of listing price.Bought before, lost money and will never buy Biosensor again.

Hello, i have just found out about this site and read with interest, your views and facts to alert each other. I am glad to want to join in. I like to share some info about Biosensor i am aware of.
The mgmt has denied rumours, that caused the counter to fall, 1.Some CE certification has been unsuccessful.2.The management is selling out  3.The company is hit with Law suits.
The other fact that one should kn is that they are making losses (they claim they told anaylst already, which they did).
One more interesting fact that one sh kn is- On May 27, there is a special general meeting been called to get shareholders to approve a Performance Share Plan, and to approve it for the Controlling shareholder-Mr Yoh Chie Lu, who is the chairman and CEO of the company to be included in the scheme too.And the reason cited is to motivate him to bring the company to a higher level....to that effect.
This is for you to decide whether it should be supported or not, given that he is already a controlling shareholder, and thus how you view this approach.

I think it's better to wait a few days. Let it stabilise first. You never know if it will fall further.
