THBEV has been trading above its upward sloping 20-Day Moving Average which is a good sign.
In addition, the price just broke the resistance of 0.42 reinforcing the bullishness in the recent price movement.
This breakout was accompanied by a higher than average traded volume which shows the enthusiasm of the traders to push the price higher and past this resistance hence giving a higher probability of a successful breakout.
Cheers to those who have vested!
hope to see above 45 cents soon
Woohoo up up up!
CIMB remains positive on ThaiBev as it will reap strategic benefits if the F& N offer succeeds. The report believes Charoen has the means to counter offer. Forbes estimated his net worth to be S$8bn. Assuming TCC comes up with a counter offer at S$11.22, at the high end of the IFA’s estimated fair value range, that would mean a total consideration of S$11.4bn. Adjusting for the S$5.6bn of APB cash sitting on F& N’s books, TCC would have to fork out S$5.8bn.
That is certainly achievable given Charoen’s estimated net worth. If TCC ends up losing, it will not reap the synergies, but enjoy a divestment gain. Thai Bev stands to gain between S$300m and S$1.3bn for a bid in the range of S$9.5 to S$12.
What Should We Do Now?
We will remain positive on the latest developments. A bidding war will crystalise the value of Thai Bev’s stake in F& N.
Cheers

finally moved today... maybe insider news..
Currency changes will be the risk now. It is possible that they are taking a loan from Singapore due to our strong currency rate. If thai currency were to strengthen againest the Singapore, then i think it will be good for Thai Beverage
Debts remain unchanged. Only the terms.
