All said, as long as one treats the stock market with respect,
namely that it is an unpredictable, and at times a beastly thing,
which can shoot up
and down, and then act accordingly,
one, anyone, (regardless of amount of knowledge gained),
should be able to survive in the market/s for a long time to come.
i guess this is normal human behaviour.... our parents used fear to discipline us, the commanders in NS used fear to discipline their soldiers, our bosses sometimes used fear to prevent us from slacking in our work.....
it is abit unrealistic to try to prevent people from talking down a stock or spreading fear as the ultimate aim is to make money from the market.
But what we can do is to provide our own technical or fundamental analysis or any other findings and observation to argue against Genting going down to 1.7.......
personally, i do not know whether genting will go down further or do a reversal and go up..... but i think that so far, genting has only been going up, it has not really gone through a 'real' correction. but this time, it looks like genting has finally start to correct......my level not so high to predict when correction will end for genting because this chart i don't really know how to read.......

i think the purpose of the forum is help to encourage one another to make more profit and not to create fear about this stock or that. I dare to say some people are adding fear for personal reasons..... so they could re-enter market or buy more......
I know the decision to trade in stock market, the purpose is making money. Money is not everything, so lose some money will not die, I strongly believe we should encourage one another instead making assumption with technical analysis. What i do like to see is people killing themselve after making some losses. better advice is trade within your limits.....
For those who believe the stock will be 1.7 tomorrow please show me your charts and explanation?

My view is that anything is possible..
This stock may rise a lot more to record levels..
or it may also go down some..
The point is no one knows for sure.
Thus, this is where the measure of being defensive comes into the picture.
The most important thing to bear in mind is one must first be familiar with trading methods and defensive strategies before they dabble in stocks.
This message is only specifically for
newbies who need good advice.
All others can ignore this as noise..

epliew, Just treat this forum as a market place. Ignore the noise and absorb those that give constructive views. Then use your judgement and trade wisely. Never love your stock and cut if need be. Good luck.
