Since this stock has proven it can make big moves, it would be preferable to buy at a reasonably low price and then hold it a bit longer till a major gain has occurred.

3-day Contra is not an advisable playing method.

Come monday, this share will move higher than 1.04 ,if you do not believe me, please queue at 1.04 for me to buy. To enhance shareholder value, if I am genting ceo, I will talk to sand ceo to take 30% in genting and genting take 30% in sand, this is a win -win situtation and I am sure the share will jump not rise to $2.50. It is better to have friend than enemy, in my opinion, competition is unhealthy for IR.

Tip of the day.......

Contra is good for momentum traders. Most of the people here are momentum traders if not novice traders, just be fast and nibble like a pigeon b4 the ruthless swing traders set a cliff for you to fly... not upwards but downwards heh heh. The only group of ppl that can beat the ass of swing traders are value investors & CEOs, I don't have to name the names... just thinking of them makes one pee in the pants.

It's an index stock...

So the Big Boys (funds) must have it in their portfolios...

Genting share after my posting to ask you guy to remove your share from sell queue. Some subborn seller ignore my request and the share shoot up to 1.05 before it close at 1.04. Good luck to those sell their share at 1.02. The day ended with strong buying from the sell queue.

Looking at the amount of investment they are putting in on this IR project, I am sure prices below $1.20 is a short term phenomena. Patience pays.

Anyway, come to think of it, all is relative...

To someone, say, who has enough $$$, 'eating like a sparrow' could mean taking $300k per trade!

Nah, it is the other way. Birds that eat and stay long long are pigeons and it is these birds that get slaughtered. Incidentally, they stayed in pigion holes as well... :)

Furthermore, many people see the stock market as a place to make big money quickly and get rich.

So if they see that you have been in the stock market for some time but still have not bought expensive property, etc... they will invariably frown.

With this in mind, therefore, any advice about "eating like a sparrow" is really unwelcome.

Harryp...

That's very true...

But many many don't believe in that at all (ie. eat small morsels)...

Perhaps more widespread is the inclination to attempt to "make a killing" quickly.

So to these ones, "eating like a sparrow" is really "waste time" and laughable...

It is better not to apply any time frame to this kind of gambling counter. Just stay nimble like a ninja and act accordingly. When price surge, adjust the cut loss level higher and when price fall, exit the trade when cut loss is triggered.

Eat like a sparrow is best applied to this baby.

it depend on whether you are a short term, mid term or long term investor....stick to your strategy and call with conviction unless market shows otherwise in extreme cases

Set a target price to sell, of course must be reasonable.  Once it hits your target price, let go.  Dun change your mind and wish for more. My mum said: Earn some, leave some for others to earn as well.

All the best, cheers.
