Good rallies in US markets today will push STI to close more than 1.2%. This is to compensate for yesterday's late afternoon sell-out too .... Hope to smell 2,500 by next week if US markets maintain its strength these 2 days! Shiok trading again today!
I predict STI will reach a maximum of around 2480 today.
Regarding today dip from 25 to close at 12+ is not a bad thing.
to me it is still a good rally and a decent correction. Most impt is that it closes abv the 10am to 11am dip. And most impt is it closes positive with huge volume.
Bit disturbed with what Jim Cramer had said about yesterday's rally in US markets at 9.12pm (today's Singapore time) in his video. You decide for your yourself if you want to believe it anot .... check out his video titled "Don' be fooled ..." below.
Dow up 45 points, while Nasdaq up 12 points now ....

tommorow STI will chiong again!
Rotational play after other Chinese counter run up to fast, players always has the tendency to take profit.
Surged is it due to CAO's 15 mil gain in it resupply of aviation oil in china and including a gain in dividend on Spaish compania Logistica of 4.99 mil, thk to ST paper reported. It is also time for CAO to climb back to above $1.30 support level. a possible px tp above $1.40 with better vol in mind before profit start kicking in.
teeth53 , your prediction is correct ~! . .. can see alot of last min profit taking esp on Chinese counters. But noted 1 stunning phenomenon , CAO had stay stagnant at around $1.19 per share, from opening till 15:00+hrs sudden surge up to $1.26 per share.
Right. Last minute selloff. Closed below 15 points at 12.8 points only although it goes green by more than 25points earlier.

Today it will close green.. but how green? My take is it won't be more than 15 points.
STI is all green for this morning, believe afternoon will be the same, up a little before profit taking start kicking in one hour before trade close.
STI 2,458 points, +18 pts on vol of 415 mil share traded (10:55 hrs), that shown todat mkt for sti seem very good and can end more then 900 mil shares been trade nd closer to a billion.
There's possibility that this is a bear rally. Sell into strength!
This STI never seem to be able to hold any trend recently... Market start green, it dies down later.. Market starts red, it recovers back.. Very Zzzzz. Sian. Unsustainable
Now up less than 10 points. Let's hope the rally doesn't falter.
