Bro cskshares, I'm not trying to take over your organizing job lei, :). I'm new, not yet a member of this fantastic club, and tot I better make myself useful, ma.
The 18 Sep date is only a suggestion as it is the 1 month anniv. I did sound out whether it is too short a notice for the members. And I'm perfectly ok if you want to take over. On second tot, it may even be better as you will give the gathering more credibility than I. Maybe some members will ask why a non-member wants to host a gathering. What's his motive? This question is perfectly understandable. If I'm a member, I may have such tots, too.
I only want to join the club as I find this is the most sincere and informative thread in the whole of SJ. I was hoping to meet and get to know the seniors better and to learn from them in the gathering.
Meanwhile, I will wait for the decision of the management team whether to proceed with the gathering or not.

Came back from Singapore last night, reached Pontian already passed midnight, so never checked SJ anymore. And yesterday was with Bro Librajet the whole day, so never checked too. This morning, checked the SJ new posts since 9 am, and also the old posts, read thru them in two directions. Just finished reading thru all the posts. Now let me share a bit about the gathering yesterday and how this meeting actually started. Will be a long update, so be patient as you read thru.
I am an eager person to learn. So I tried my best to learn from any sifu who is willing to teach. I shared with some of them before. My dream holiday is a 4 days holiday, not to any overseas country, but a trip to be with Bro Librajet for one day, and 1 day each with Bro Stockcham, Bro Ace and Bro Joseeng. Of course, if anybody else is willing to teach, I will change my holiday trip to 6 days, or even 2 weeks. LOL, if there are so many sifus willing to teach me.
After knowing them bit by bit, I found that to be with Bro Librajet is more possible than the other 3 because of the lifestyle. I did inform Bro Librajet that I was coming to Pontian, would go to Singapore, hope to meet him to learn from him even if it is 1 hour. He didn't say yes, but told me he is willing to fly to Penang for a few days to share with me, which I politely refuse as I dare not take this advantage.
Last weekend, I did go to Singapore to meet up with Bro Wendel and Bro Bulletproofheart on Sunday night. And was in Singapore the whole Monday, so didn't monitor the stocks and SJ. Monday night back in Pontian, read thru the posts, saw so many Brothers and Sisters made money. I then congratulated Bro Librajet for his winning, and explained that I was in Singapore, didn't check SJ.
He asked why I never contacted him. I told him that I didn't want to give the impression that I give him pressure to meet him. I said I planned to go again for another weekend, asked if possible to meet, and he said yes. Initially, we decided on 7:30 pm. I thought since I am already in Singapore, if I can dig more from him, why not, so bravely asked if I can come earlier, he said after 1 pm should be ok. So I did, thought 7:30 pm will be for everybody, and 1 pm onwards, my private tuition with me. He opened up to anybody, I was fine with the idea/
I was surprised not many people responded about going, may be too last minute arrangement. Anyway, Bro Arisyn, myself, Sis Angeline and Sis Wenie went at about 1 pm. Sis Agneline and Sis Wenie were silent traders who followed this thread without posting. They PM Bro Librajet to join the meeting. And after the meeting yesterday, I confirmed that they are not sent by the BBs. LOL!
We had a wonderful discussion and especially fantastic sharing from Bro Librajet's life experience. Bro Wendel arrived at about 5 pm. Sister Sugee arrived at about 8 pm, because she attended a wedding in KL, rushed back all the way to join us, by helicopter. LOL!
The sharing from Bro Librajet is more than what I expected. Just like what the Bible says, Heaven is a place where eyes have not seen, ears have not heard, and beyond what our minds can imagine. I can only say I opened my mouth wide listening to him.
He didn't just share about trading. He also shared with us how you can win in casino, 90 - 99% of the time, which I believe it will work, and how we can apply it to trading. He also illustrate many points from his life experience and how we can apply into trading. A multi talented guy and vast experience, a real estate agent who look for buyers for Singapore houses not from Singapore buyers, but all the way to Hong Kong and Taiwan for buyers. He is also a qualified taxi driver who likes to pick up clients and have a good discussion with them. I really don't know how to explain and share what we learned from him. But honestly, especially all four of us who started with him at 1 pm, can only say, all of you really missed out a lot. By the way, I regretted that I didn't do a voice recording so I can listen to it again and again. Too old liao, cannot absorb so many things at one go.
When he sent us to MRT station, I told him that I will arrange for another meet up with him when I come down again the next trip, but for just a few hours, and not long hours again, and he said OK.
I am really looking forward to meet up with him for a few hours each time I come back to Pontian. Again, if there are other sifus willing to share with me, I will be glad to spend my time with you too.
Just now, read thru the posts, was glad for Bro spss1955's offer for the gathering. Very happy about it. But when I read more, Wah Lao Oi, already fixed Sep 18, cannot leh, will be too soon for me to come again. And I thought I am the core organizer for meet up leh, why take over my job?
Anyway, please consider my suggestions. I really would like to propose for another later date.
- Of course, main reason is I cannot make it on Sep 18 lah! My wife will refuse me from entering the house if I leave Penang again in September. LOL!
- Another reason, it might turn out to be another too short notice for many people. I am known by my schoolmates and my family members to be good organizer for gatherings. I would suggest for longer time period so everybody can make proper arrangement. And I will engage some brothers and sisters to be helping me to get more people to come. I want it to be a nice gathering, instead of another small gathering.
- And just notice Sep 18 is Wednesday, not weekend. I personally feel Saturday night will be a better time to gather, as we will not have worries if if we end our meeting a bit late since the next day is Sunday.
Just my opinions. Anyway, Bro spsss1955, if you do receive many PMs that many people are coming on Sep 18, that means you can proceed to have it, and I can only say too bad I miss it.
We will play by ears to see how everything goes. If there is really a meeting on Sep 18 with many people turning up. Then may be Bro spss1955 can arrange for gathering thru skype for me and Bro Stockcham, and whoever cannot make it.
Its indeed nice to meet more and more Brothers and Sisters face to face! HUAT AH!
