May 12, this counter hit high of 1.31. Then June 9, this counter drop to lowest 0.58 due to the carry trade matter that affect the whole financial market. No doubt there are investment and mou news thereafter June 9, this counter suddenly surge very high to over 80 cents, now it plunge again to 0.745. As I said, if they cannot get the ce mark for one of it popular product, it is too risky to invest in this counter. Oso the company net profit is not very interesting and the liability of the company is very high as it has something to do with heart which is one of the important organ of human being. Potential business is there but cost of RD is very high. If you are contra player, my advise is avoid the counter, for long term investment, buy few and keep.

Huh? Hasn't it already corrected from $1 not too long ago?

How much more substantial correction would you expect to be a good time to enter?

Biosensors International jumped after the company turned in a Q1 profit after a loss last year, and on a bullish broker note.

Q1 net profit for the firm was almost $8 million, compared to a net loss of $6.7 million last year, boosted by a one-time licensing payment worth $5 million and a $15 million settlement fee for a legal action involving intellectual property (IP) infringement.

"These two payments verify our belief that Biosensors has superior technology and adequate IP protection," OCBC analyst Kelly Chia said in a note on Tuesday.

The company said on Monday that it has been granted a patent by the European Patent Office for the Biolimus A9 drug, used on heart stents, for treatment of vascular injuries and prevention of organ transplant rejections.

OCBC's Chia added that Biosensor's $10 million acquisition of a 50% stake in JW Medical Systems, a drug-eluting stent maker in China, will allow the firm to tap on the healthcare boom there.

She has a "buy" recommendation for the stock with a fair value of $1.21.

However, market sentiment is very bad. Don't buy until after a substantial correction.

Hi novena_33,

Sorry I didn't see your post on 14th August until now. Yup... the spike upwards on the 12th wasn't too out of the ordinary. I still think the TA charts aren't too healthy now.

NASDAQ 2499.12  -43.12  -1.7% | DJIA 13028.92  -207.61  -1.57% | S&P 1426.54  -26.38  -1.82%

Above are the result of yesterday closing, those who listened to my advise to take profit before day closed is laughing their way to the bank, those who do not, pray hard for the share not to dip. There must be a good reason why this counter is not supported by CPF investment. Day after day, if this company still cannot get the ce mark, i think this counter is not worth while to invest, many hero and heroine had died of heart attack because of this counter.

this counter from 82 cents surge to over a dollar and plunge below 50 cents within short period of time, this show that this counter is very volatile and I think someone is controlling the counter in a big way.

good luck to those believe this counter will surge tommorrow. this company has high liability and they have to ensure nothing happen to their product for life as it has something to do with human life.

Historically so many other CPF approved counters also proven to chao tar. Its all about the company and how much you as investors believe biosensors have the best stent technology. Im bullish because I believe Biosensors has what it takes to be the best stent company globally.

for your info, this counter is not supported by cpf investment scheme, if it is supported than it is safe to buy because there will be less contra player and the price will not drop fast is there is a shake up in usa. take profit now before it is too late.

Fully agree... just like creative got the MP3 patent but Steve Job rides on Sim and the Apple stocks rose more than 100% since his return to his founded company.

Anyway, biosensor has gotten the potential in the long run...
