at this type of market sentiment, it better to rent than sell massage chair. many investor need massage for all the stress they experience.

True. Neither should one buy or sell based on what others in the forum say as they may also have their own agenda. Buy or sell based on your own means, research and more importantly your own gut feeling.

hi SJ mates,

Remember not to blindly follow the brokerage houses' calls, even though they may be from powerful foreign houses. There might always be a possibility of hidden agenda behind their calls. Do remember to read their disclaimer to check for any direct or indirect interest as stated by them. It'd probably in your interest to check for any stakes in it if you have the time.

Personally, i dont understand why their citing a buy call on a lose-making company. I have read the other OSIM thread. It seems that one of our SJ mates had the opportunity the visit a brookstone outlet. What you see is what you get. Rem that nothing beats a personal visit to companies involved in retail outlets. Hope you guys will be able to discern.

hi  zhuge_liang

maybe they didnt realise we already had one when they started out another thread on the same topic. I am also blur blur sometimes. Dont get too bothered by it. I am sure you have greater things for your attention! Continue to make money through the market and your own personal work!

Cheers!

Just noticed that somebody started another thread on the same topic. Don't understand. Do they just want a thread in their name?

I think I will die sitting on this OSIM chair when mkt opens tomorrow. When Mediacorps interview him about earning in tonight's news, his face also don't have cheers. I am just a small investor, but he is. He just bought in a lot of his own shares last month right!

Hi Singaporegal,

Osim should work with Daimler Benz, BMW or Toyata to retrofit plush massaage chairs in their cars. They ought to consider cobranding and find other means of driving value. Ron are you listening?

ok lah, i also agree with your points, massage chair at home nobody can see so nothing can show off.

maybe if Osim can have massage chairs that come with very good features, e.g. effective curing of backache, etc then it can stand out from its competitors.

Hi erickoh888,

IMHO,  I don't think branding is that important to Singaporeans when it comes to massage chairs. Unlike cars, which strokes the pride and ego of people, massage equipment don't really do that.

I agree much with Eastonbay... :)

Another instance...

Calling a special laptop a "Ferrari" doesn't make any more prestigious than say a Sony Viao or a Mac...  I'll take the Viao anytime! Smiley
