Not our level to place a verdict at this moment.......there are more surprises ahead.
Sorry, commented on the wrong stock..
(This one did not reach 2.19)
If one had bought @2.19 and had held on till now (1.90)
I suppose it is still bearable to keep holding,
since a recovery from the lows is already underway.

If one bought it at 2.19.......what is the value...even the strongest confidence will collapse......that is when you should buy in..........

As I said don't chase stock.... not everyday is Sunday !

Important Support is 1.89-1.90, break this level will bring to 1.67-1.70 for next support
Okay.. fair enough... :)
Since I had always sung the defensive tune,
you should have instantly 'smelled a rat' ..

You must always remember to differentiate between my commenting (perhaps in sarcasm) about someone's action and my calling for a similar action. Nowhere in my posts did I ever encourage or suggest anyone to do what Nicola Darvas or (anyone else) did.. So I hope you get it now..

I am afraid in the real world, it is not that simple as you make it... It is easy, but far from simple. And you missed out one requirement which is of paramount importance... which is: Buying A Good Stock At The Best Or A Good Price. Which essentially means it is pointless to invest if one buys it at the wrong price.

Sell and Cut your Losses. Buy Back at lower Price. You are already in the red, just how badly you going to be burned. You can't think straight now because this loss is affecting your judgment. Sell now and get out of this situation, so that you can get a clearer mind. After that, watch this price closely and enter when you see the price starting to rise again. Genting SP is still going down and I've not see the bottom yet. Just my personal view. Don't take it too seriously. Good luck.

The problem is many people don't know if they are an investor or a trader.

This is a wonderful question which I am happy to answer.
Most newbies think that to be a stock newbie is to simply buy stocks.
But that is not being a stock newbie-
because that is simply being a stock market gambler newbie.
A true stock newbie is more serious about how the stock market works in reality.
I call this stock market education.
Think of an accomplished pianist.. or a golfer.. or an Formula 1 Grawn Pree driver...
Without proper training and preparation, do you think they can perform well?
Of course not... but sadly, many think stock trading is an exception...

The trick is to think long term investment.
What change to your life if Genting SP open at $4 tomorrow morning and you sold it at $4.
You can only happy for a while.
No big impact to your life.
