BUSINESS TIMES 30 Sep 2010- Junket operators, who organise visits to casinos and provide credit to gamblers, may make an appearance in Singapore seven months after the opening of the city-state's first casino.
Singapore's Casino Regulatory Authority (CRA) said on Wednesday it has received licence applications from junket operators endorsed by Resorts World Sentosa, which is owned by Genting Singapore . CRA did not say how many applications were received.
