SINGAPORE, Oct 14 (Reuters) - K-REIT and other real estate investment trusts will be in focus on Wednesday after its distributable income to unit holders rose 18 percent in its third quarter results. K-REIT Asia, a Singapore property trust, reported its third quarter distributable income to unit holders rose 18 percent from a year earlier, and its distribution per unit rose 15 percent to 2.69 cents. Keppel Corp and Keppel Land jointly own about 76 percent of K-REIT.

K-reits raising capital now for a reason - for Kepland to offload more properties to it, thereafter Kepland will +20c at least. They will duplicate what Capland did to CapitalMall Asia - since Temasek call the shots for both.

Kepland is a super laggard ! Prime assets near to both Casinos. Marina Bay Financial Centre + Harbour Front Tower & Keppel Bay Towers.

NAV Capitaland = $2.86 vs Kepland = $2.29

Share Price (13/10) Capitaland = $3.99 vs Kepland = $2.64

Price/book Capitaland =1.4 vs Kepland = 1.15

I'm hoping that u'r accurate....although my ADX indicates that it is trading (down at 10) rather than trending. It will still take a while before it is ready to move upward break it's previous high at 2.87. Don't get me wrong... I'm definitely a supporter for this counter but just a little disappointed with it's performance lately......this baby has been side line move horizontally with little action for the past 2 months or so.

Btw, 1 chartist guy told me Kepland will be about $2.80-$3.10 by this end DEC whereas another chartist guy said Kepland is likely to be $1.60-$1.80 this end dec, so which of the 2 price targets you guys think is more likely to happen? hehe

    0333 GMT [Dow Jones] Overall prices of private homes in Singapore could revisit 2007 peaks by next year, with mass-market projects already at those levels, but prices could stagnate from there, says UBS. Notes developers raised launch prices in 1H09 by 10% for projects in prime districts, 18% for those in mass-market areas due to keen interest from both local, foreign buyers. Expects 16,000 new homes to be completed over 2009-2015, unchanged from 16,000 completed in 2000-2008; "we believe this is not excessive, if we expect population growth to be 2.4%." Raises NAV forecasts for developers under its coverage by 3%-13%, FY09-11 EPS estimates by 1%-19% to reflect higher selling prices. Upgrades Allgreen Properties (A16.SG) to Buy from Neutral, raises target price to S$1.63 from S$0.44; keeps CityDev (C09.SG) at Buy but raises target to S$12 from S$11; keeps Keppel Land (K17.SG) at Buy with higher target of S$3.30 vs S$3.20.
