Last FY 1H mtg was on 14 Apr 08, proposed Div likely 65.2% of last payout of 8cts, as it last FY shed 34.8%. Ha ha, uncle Dony, may not wish to announce on d 13th of d mth, moreover, Monday blue??? Hm 14, in cantonese also no good, 18 fits d fengshui date.

Ds time rd, 5 cts loh, optimistically. Ha ha, if uncle Dony is kind enough, 1 or 2 cts more liao. Cheers.

Hmm, its Siver Jub n changes Logo, Feng Shui mah. Killing away wat jinx d US press holdings had. Well published in papers, own coy mah, no other corporate could do that.

Last 1H given 8 cts div with 211.525m NPAT. 1Q09 NPAT 73m as compared to preceeding yr of 111.9m.

Ahhh... absolutely... :)

Better to pick a penny stock which has been trading for some time in a lateral accumulation pattern and and place your bets on it... then hold it as fixed deposit...

This is the best way to leverage the 'interest'... hehehe...   Smiley

If you had just bought (@2.10), then it is a sensible move...

But if one had bought at above $4.00 and held it as a fixed deposit, then where is the logic of it?... Smiley

UBS upgrades from “Neutral” on valuation grounds but keeps the $3.18 target price.  It says the stock is now trading at more than one standard deviation from its 10-year average price/earnings ratio and looks attractively priced.  It adds that a significant dividend cut seems a unlikely as the company has no large capex  requirements.
