When can KGT be traded?
Keppel Integrated Engineering (KIE), a unit of Keppel Corp, plans to
sponsor the listing of new business trust K-Green Trust (KGT) on the Singapore
Exchange. The Senoko Waste-to-Energy Plant, formerly known as the Senoko
Incineration Plant, has been transferred from KIE to KGT as the trust’s seed
asset. Two more assets — the Keppel Seghers Tuas Waste-to-Energy Plant and the
Ulu Pandan NEWater Plant — will be transferred to KGT before the listing,
expected in 2Q.
Keppel says KGT’s investment objective is to invest in “green”
infrastructure assets in Singapore and globally, with a focus on Asia, Europe
and the Middle East. KGT aims to provide “long-term, regular and predictable
distributions to its unit holders”. Keppel will distribute 50.5%, or 326 million
KGT units to its shareholders, in the ratio of one KGT unit for every five
Keppel shares owned. This distribution is worth some $379 million, implying a
price of $1.16 per KGT unit and a value of 23 cents per Keppel share. According
to Keppel, this proposed dividend in specie forms part of the total dividend of
61 cents per share that it is proposing to offer to shareholders for FY2009.
Ex-KGT today, KCL down 23c bcos NTA per KGT =$1.16 divided by 5 = 23c (1-for-5).

I think you cannot sell it online for odd shares. Anyway you can make call to broker to sell it for you. Otherwise buy another 600 or 1200 shares to top up in lot.

Thanks to BP oil spill, I was also lucky to buy KCL just last week, 25lots@ 8.53, my entitlement of KGT = 5 lots (5000 shares).
Actually nobody knows what price KGT will trade on 29 June (Tuesday)- some say 30 June (not sure). Bcos this is 1st of its kind listed on SGX - comprising Senoko Power & Tuas Power, so no peer comparison possible. But it is unlikely to trade below its NTA of $1.16. Remember this, KCL has the muscle to push it to over $1.20 - after listing KCL still owns >50% of KGT. Imagine some more - IF KGT should go into nuclear power in the distant future, the sky is the limit.!

Day hi was $8.83.
I bought last week, but still consider wanna keep it as not sure how good is KGT.
So KGT is going to listed on 30 June? May I know what is KGT listed price?

Yes, positive. U got only 7 mins to buy CE b4 5pm today. But now near days high @8.00 - a bit risky, decide 4 yourself.

I just let got of 5 lots at 8.78, is tmr ex CE ?, I thought it is 18 Jun?
Oh yes of course will be looking at K-green closely. Wat I meant was Kep Corp looks gd but saya rebuilding cash position, cannot splurge. cheers!

Why not wait till 30th Jun to buy KGT without hving to buy Keppel if u just want KGT?
Coy projecting DPU of 3.91 cts for remainder of FY10 and 7.82 cts for FY11.
Believe KGT is likely to give regular and stable divs year after year.
