I like the chart. Join in also..
This is probably profit-taking for yesterday's price rise, which is nothing unusual.

Midas is an extremely good buy at current price as chart shows it has bounce of the support & RSI turning up from 30. & has great upside potential to move to the resistance.
To the wise, this is the best time to fish & accumulate when the riverside is still not crowded. |

Range Trading can profit when market is down.. opposite when market up. But risk is high when a sudden halt for good news annoucemnt will wipe clean the gain by doing naked shorting. (This one got institutional interest counter) Anyway, insider have been buying up at much much higher price over the years. 5 year track record, div record and fundamental due to the china gov spend have been good.. (Rather long than short on this one)
Other stocks also dropped alot, can gain by shorting also.. But the risk is high on this one, history show it has many sudden upsurge also..
I vested since 28cent buying all the way up with afew cover short when it move up to fast.. (The up are sudden as well). But this is one of the counter to stay vested in at this price.. as sales looking to double in 2009.. (Doing range trading better be covered, naked is not advisable on this one)
Prudent is the game, all it takes is one big surge like at 30cent to 37cent based on historical will wipe clean the profit. Check the historical data.. See many people become bankrupt before, no one is smarter than the market.
I still believe 2009 Dec 31 price will be higher than the current still got 300 more days to result |

Nobody can tell u except MFT.& they maybe right by luck or if unlucky, wrong.
There is no shortcut to trading, u have to learn TA & trade based on your own analysis as nobody is answerable to your pockets & not responsible for your losses if any.
U have to learn how to catch your own fish as nobody can catch fish for u everyday.
TA is never 100% guaranteed, tats why setting stop-loss is important.

Hi..i am new here. Midas can still cheong from here?
Yippeeeeee!!!!!
MIDAS followed the TA to a Tee, flagpole (Majulah Singapura, hahaha), break the sloping resistance at 50 ct, more good times to come, this is just the start of the party, there maybe bouts of slight correction, consolidation, take a breather (chuan kui) b4 upward climb again.
50 cts now becomes the potential support if unbroken as nothing is guaranteed, no TA is 100% guaranteed. Set your own stop-loss

MIDAS could be forming a flag pole, consolidating (chuan kui) b4 resuming upward climb again. The show just started, "more good days" to come, patience is the key man

Hoorayyy!!! to MIDAS & congrats to those who bot.
Still more upside potential to come, the show just begins, the ride just started.
it is still never too late to jump into the bandwagon, otherwise, u will end up just salivating. |

DBSV Buy Recommendation dated 27/2/09
FY08 results were largely in line with expectations, with
earnings up 2% yoy to S$33m on top line growth of
3% yoy to S$144m. A final dividend of 0.25cts was
declared. Looking ahead, we expect Midas to ride on
China’s booming railway sector to win more contracts
for both its core aluminum extrusion business and its JV
Nanjing Puzhen for metro train assembly. Maintain BUY,
continued to do well, growing revenues by 17% yoy as
more railway-related projects were won. Despite PBT for
the full year rising by 15% yoy, net profit was quite flat
due to higher taxes (+136% yoy) as a series of tax
incentives expired. Earnings in line. Core aluminium alloy business
More contracts and order book delivery from 2009
onwards.
delivered less than 100 cars in 2008 but with a bulging
order book of 768 train cars to be delivered from 2009
onwards, we believe that its contribution to Midas’
bottom line will grow significantly this year. Meanwhile,
the Group is in the midst of installing its third
production line, which will raise its production capacity
by 50% to 30,000 tonnes per annum by 1H10. (Please
see inset for B/S and C/F discussion.)
We also expect both Midas’ core aluminium business
and JV NPRT to win more rail-related projects for its
future growth. We estimate that Nanjing Puzhen (NPRT)
Maintain BUY

Compare to the others railway related counters in China or Hong Kong.. This one is trading at a much lower forward PE.. With gov connect venture, sure will be a star again.. Got to be patience and wait... Study the financial carefullly to watch for potential pit hole just in case..
For me it is a long 5 years from 2009..
