I think big funds don't buy call warrants. Maybe they buy some put warrants for hedging. Most of the warrant holders are retail investors. The Ang Moh issuer already make the first money when they sell you the covered warrants. I think they probably sold these covered warrants at 15cts each to innocent retail investors. There are 48,000,000 shares and thats more than $7m cash collected during issue. And they will use this money to manipulate the stock. Last month there a covered warrant of 60,000,000 shares expired. NBCB. Focking SGX should stop all these covered warrants thing to protect investors from kena manipulated by Ang Moh. But of course SGX has profit motivation on this matter. All covered warrants are kelong. Do not buy them at issue and sponsor the Ang Moh issuer his new Porsche and splurge on SPGs in clubs. Pooi! Focking crooks!
Today might close 0.9 or slightly under. But there are consistant accumulation of the shares at regular intervals. Pretty high volume..above 100...

since with all this warrant stuff going on...i suspect 90c will not hold for long too... haiz...what a good run...but screw by this.....
My story is my call warrants expired earlier and ate me more than $5K. Luckily bought back BIG shares and holding fast. MBLECW071102 warrants are call warrants which allow the holder to receive the difference between market price and exercise price of 95 cents. Expires 12.00pm tomorrow, so obviously issuer will cap share price below 95 cents till tomorrow otherwise they will lose money paying out to the warrant holders.. I believe today will close below 95 cents. Any surge will come after 2.00pm on 2/11/2007 because holders must submit their notice to exercise before noon tomorrow.
Walau Mr A you so hiong ah??? End Oct was my best guess. I feel CE got 95% chance of coming out around that time but the accuracy of date only CE themselves will know. Maybe next week then BIG announce CE leh? But i believe yesterday the ang moh issuer a bit scared until lao sai. 48,000,000 covered warrants bets!!! If they lose 10cts per warrant sure kena fry fish by his big boss. KNN somehow the Ang Mo's timing like very jun as in like somehow all warrants will expire just before CE approval (if CE is announced next week).

Average of last 5 day's closing price before expiry means the warrant confirm will be out-of-money liao lah. Monday 75.5cts, Tues 80cts, Wed 96cts, today looks like it will be 93cts. But tomorrow closing price duno still unless trading halt and CE confirm come out. Otherwise no chance liao. The issuer Chiak Ka Liao again. No wonder now share price now a bit out of steam. Covered warrants kelong lah better don't touch.
