From DMG:
Midas shares up 11.8% on hopes of more deals
Shares of Midas Holdings - which produces aluminium parts used to make trains - surged 11.8
per cent yesterday on hopes that the company would secure more contracts in China, dealers
said. The stock ended at 71 cents, up 7.5 cents from 63.5 cents and was one of the most actively
traded counters, with some 65.8 million shares changing hands. The company is mulling a fourth
production line as it eyes more rail contracts in China, chief executive Patrick Chew told Reuters
last week.
He said that the firm is looking to win $200 million worth of contracts for high-speed and metro
trains in China. Mr Chew said that it expects its third production line to be ready by 2010. This
would raise capacity by 50 per cent.
In a June 3 report, DMG & Partners Securities said that it continued to favour Midas as it is 'one
of the chief beneficiaries of China's stimulus package'. Shares of Midas Holdings have risen 56.8
per cent over the past three months, outperforming the Straits Times Index by 1.66 percentage
points.

Outlook for MIDAS
Looking at the performance today. Look like MIDAS is taking the 5 waves triangle move.
This implies that it is now in upwave D.
However the surge today is too strong thus I am expecting it to end soon or it may have already ended (remember it is just a minor wave).
The coming downwards wave E may be in force tomorrow. If the price is reluctance to come down then we will expect a longer wave E.
I forgot to mentioned anything can happen during correction mode because they are undisciplined waves.
The real entry entry point (somewhere near the lower dotted line) will be a matter of time depending how long wave E can go. Volume is expected to surge at the end of wave E(somewhere near the lower dotted line). see chart (D is now labelled)

Just my view, for sharing and learning, please comment. Learning through critique for improvement.
(Not an inducement to trade).

nice big uptick on extremely large vol.. looking good for entry if vol is sustainable tomorrow...
do ur homework pls..it's a bloody killing field out there..
Oh yah, forgot to mention, besides Ausgroup, next to charge up, if I m not wrong is China Hongxin, coming very soon as it had been consolidating for quite some time aredi..
This is just my opinion, not an inducement to buy. Dyodd.

From what I see today. MIDAS is heading a 5 waves triangle move. Now at wave D. Price may go up a bit and then down heading for the final wave E. By the end of wave E, volume will pickup, providing the real entry point. Primary wave 3 will continue. We will then see the true color of wave 3.
Above is just my view. (Not an inducement to trade).

Basically to identify an uptrend you need to compare 3 lows and 3 highs.
Starting from the recorded low.
Each subsequent low must be higher than the preceeding low: Low, higher low, higher low.
High acheive after the recorded low.
Each subsequent high must be higher than the preceeding high: High, higher high, higher high.
Don't invest without looking at chart, play within your limit - That's my advice.
