Actually at this level it makes no sense to punt or scalp. When rationalities return over times this can be a multi baggers. I remember good blue chip stocks being bashed down emotionally to only 10% to 20%  of their present value during the Asian crisis of 1999 and in  the following tears returning  200% and more. AT this time with regard to Biot. take a similar tackle for the medium to long term - it always work for the good ones.

6 clicks? I think i more kiasu, i would wait for 12 clicks, Then i would buy 4 lots even at a lower price should it go down some more. That is my strategy.

Same case happened to China paper which was sold down grossly too then what!!?? ppl goes bottom fishing too when it hit it bottom. I don encourage ppl to punt or buying into greed. would advise to wait for 6click down from last trading prices before considering another 2 lots.

The battering of Biot. over the last one week has seen more than a quarter of the  co. shares changed hands from weak to strong hands. The fact is that this is still a reckonable co. in China able to secure huge contracts and fundamentally a sound progressive enterprise. The management has not managed their IR well and has been severely punished regarding transparency. Intelligent management will learn better corporate governance and Biot has reacted to clarify themselves. The emotional selling has dwindled and like what teeth said smart long term holders may be bottom fishing these fundamentally sound shares which has fallen more than 35%. Buying this well known Chinese stock at this level and lower for the longer term investments make sense. They are still making money and cash rich.

Hold to ur 2 lots by look at d green line it is glossly over sold down when it drop like a bomb, look at d huge volume is sold down. Those who bot at d high side have got a good chance to ave down and make some $$$ (to make some profit) when it vol is low. not inducement to punt, catching BIG one or big fish!!, those R for big boys to do so. I merely put up the graphic for those to who is keen to know.

Sorry t53, maybe I don't share your sentiment. This counter would've to take a lot more to gain back Investors' confidence. Any upward movements of pxs are just trading adjustments due to 'overdone' trades.

If you intend to go bottom-fishing, you need to have patience to catch a BIG one. There're better fish out there where you could safely catch in clearer water. Cheers!!!!

Maximium click is 6 click down from it trading done price of $0.785. This stock is good only for holding on for those who it at about... and those who bot it on a high at about..., it can eventually move back to test $0.90 cents. A dollar will be a little difficult to break unless..it result / performance can show +ve where by ppl (players) can move..

The Management has lost its intergrity and thus the trust of Investors. Therefore, for those who dare to get into a 'sticky' environment may be stuck for a long time. Stay out until there is a change in Management with proven good records in intergrity. Cheers!!!!

CIMB-GK says it has upgraded its rating for Bio-Treat Technology to "neutral" from "trading sell" because it believes that the drivers of the company's growth are still in place.

The brokerage said the value of Bio-Treat's order book was at a record 1. 7 bln yuan, while more than half of the causes of almost 90% of the drop in its earnings in the fiscal year ended June should not recur.

"However, we remain guarded over possible surprise costs for the six built-operate-transfer/transfer-operate-transfer projects coming on stream in the year to June 2007," the brokerage said in a note.

CIMB-GK has cut its target price for the stock to $0.89 and lowered its forecasts of earnings per share for the fiscal years up to June 2009 by 13-16% to factor-in smaller margin recovery due to the higher costs of inputs and penetrating new markets.

"We reiterate that Bio-Treat needs earnings delivery to restore confidence for re-rating," CIMB-GK said.

Its failure to warn investors about the potential impact of China's severe weather is more a credibility issue than an earnings issue.

Citigroup said it has cut its target price to $0.71 in view of weaker earnings prospects.

It also lowered its earnings estimates for the company by 28% to 299m yuan for the year to June 2007 and by 39% to 277m yuan for the year to June 2008. The company's net profit for year to June 2006 was 189m yuan.

Citigroup has changed its rating on the stock from "sell/medium risk" to "sell/high risk" as it believes the company may not be able to recover from the recent dent in its credibility due to the delay in informing investors about poorer earnings prospects.

"Management credibility has been impacted and the market will not only focus on the negative earnings surprise but will probably also have a view on how the whole communication process was handled," Citigroup said in a note.

"Coupled with the major past issues re stock options and auditor change, Bio-Treat could see a further de-rating," it added.
