Fortunately, every currency pair has their on trading time that we can be traded optimally.  Here is the trading time table:

USD/JPY is good during Asian market. 07:00 until 17:00.
USD/CHF is good from 14:00 until 10:00.
EUR/USD is good during Europe Market 15:00 until 00:00.
GBP/USD is relatively same to EUR/USD

can i verify this --> "USD/CHF is good from 14:00 until 10:00."

is the timing correct ?

Hi baseearhmed, thanks for your support.  I?ll consider publishing them.  But at this moment, I think there is too many FX book around.  And too many websites has been publishing this kind of stuff.  So, I prefer to focus on my trade rather than writing + editing articles. Once I become new Singapore?s millionaire, may be I?ll have different thought ? first thing first Smiley.

Thanks to Mani and CashierTan.  I'm just happy to see my Rank is getting upgraded. Another else, just like to share and I wish it's helpfull.

(Please keep putting your vote  ... Smiley ... )

Unlike Stock Market, FX market is relatively more consistent affected by market fundamental.  Even we are a pure TA based-trader, Fundamental gives you the big picture what will happen next in the market.

It doesn?t mean we can?t play outside time table.  Outside this table market tends to move wildly, harder to predict for a beginner.  But once you have been fluent with FX market environment, there is nothing can stop you.  Once more times, we are still discussing technique for intraday trader.  The other two will be presented later.

One more thing we need to be cautious, during the opening of US market, it?s better to hold our transaction, we give market a time to consolidate, settle into new price range.

The last thing we should know about the pairs we trade is, how much money we earn/loss to for 1 pip different.  Here is the table.

USD/JPY, around USD 9 for 1 standard lot
USD/CHF, around USD 8 for 1 standard lot
GBP/USD, fix USD 10 for 1 standard lot
EUR/USD, fix USD 10 for 1 standard lot.

In FX account, there are 3 types account:

1. Mini Account.  Minimum amount of money to deposit is started from SGD 3,000.  1 lot = SGD 10,000 (Leverage: 1:100)
2. Standard Account. Minimum amount of money to deposit is started from SGD 10,000. 1 lot = SGD 100,000 (Leverage: 1:100)
3. Institutional Account. Minimum amount of money to deposit is started from SGD 100,000.  1 lot = SGD 1000,000 (Leverage: 1:100)

Leverage is a kind of rate to broker trust for your trading.  Higher leverage means give you higher profit/loss.
1:100 means for every 1 dollar you bet in FX market is equally with 100 dollars.
I don?t want to discuss this technical trading matter, for more information please ask to your broker or read from book. My point here is to share the techniques to earn money from FX Market.

Techsys... :)

I am personally so very impressed with your selflessness in so painstakingly producing those guidance
material for forex enthusiasts...

Like BaseerAhmed, I feel you have a 'Supreme" standing as far as helpfulness goes...
Why then are you so worried about your forum rank???

To me, your Forex knowledge alone  makes you worth more than just a "Supreme" designation.

In time, I am sure the mere seeing of the name "Techsys" alone will command much respect and acceptance,
regardless of the attached ranking... Smiley

Before I close my trade and go to sleep, here is the third article.
Thanks for all voters; I really appreciate your effort to help me boost my rank.
(Baseerahmed, you can click ?Good Post? bellow this article).

FX Fundamental is the main logic for FX market movement.  Unlike stock market, we can?t rely on Technical Analysis, since FX market is too sensitive.

Here is the example how to interpret Fundamental news to market action.
From CNN today, they just announced the probability of weakening in US?s economy.  This news clearly tells that US will be getting weaker against other currency.  Without significant news on Japan and Europe side, we can consider the support will against US currency.

So, into FX pairs, in short period, we can tell:

USD/JPY will be moving up.  USD/CHF will be moving up.
GBP/USD will be moving down.  EUR/USD will be moving down.

Bellow is the chart that taken Feb 16th, 2008 at 01:37.  Blue line indicates market trend.

Even there was movement around US?s market opening time (USD/JPY), the price got back its support level later.

So once we know market Fundamental, we can anticipate market movement.  The problem here is not every body can translate fundamental news into market action.  Some news can be tricky, means once it is heard well but when we trace deeper, I can turn into bad news.  For example: market consumer index, export/import, employment rate, etc.  We definitely need time to practice to understand this economic language.   For you, who already understand ? congratulation!!

Once market fundamental is understood, we need to know daily price range of every pair we want to trade.  Knowing daily price range, we can predict where the price is moving.  Of course this price range can be broke by fundamental news, this price range is the boundary for us be an intraday trader.

For example, if USD/JPY is opened around 107.10 then we can assume than it can be moved around (107.10 - .95) pips and (107.10 + .95) pips which is 106.15 to 108.05.

Here is the list of daily price range:

USD/JPY - around 95 pips
USD/CHF - around 100 to 120 pips
GBP/USD - around 125 to 150 pips
EUR/USD - around 100 pips

If necessary, write down this price range next to your monitor.  Keep you remember and safe your trading from unnecessary lost.  This number is not magic number, but should be use wisely for intraday trader.

My thanks to who has voted good post for me.  Here is the next article as I promised.
(Please vote me .. I need to upgrade my Rank)

Basically you can trade FX for 24 hours, as long as there is country has economic activity (Except Saturday, Sunday and Public Holiday).  Global FX, until this moment, is influent by three continents, Asia (Lead by Japan), Europe and United States.  That?s why there are 4 major pairs.  Because of time different, market has their characteristics.

Asian market is started from 07:00 (Local Time) till 19:00 (Local Time)
European Market is started from 15:00 (Local Time) till 00:00 (Local Time)
US Market is started from 20:00 (Local Time) till 05:00 (Next Day Local Time)
US in winter has daylight saving.  Market will be started 22:00 till 04:30.

During this time, market usually will jump a little bit drastically.  Depend on what will happen that day accordingly.  If you can analyst fundamental news, you can take this chance for some profit.  (I will discuss it next time).

There are three type traders we can be in FX market:

1. Intraday Trader: optimum to have 5 ? 12 pips each transaction.
2. Fundamental Trader: optimum for 15 - 80 pips each transaction.
3. Trend Base Trader: optimum for 50 ? 250 pips each transaction.

In FX market, we need to be flexible, follow trend that is most appropriate base on market condition.  We need to know what moves market at that moment.  That?s why we need to know news and market schedule for at least 1 week.  This doesn?t mean we are against Technical Analysis.  Technical Analysis is needed to identify price range, allow us to get in and get out safely.

While market is in consolidation mode, it tends to move slowly, up and down regularly.  This is the time for us to be Intraday Trader.  While there is news being announced, market will move fast and start new consolidation price.  Before market start to move, you need to analyst fast the probability and impact to the pair of currency.  Here is the Fundamental Trader Market.  The last market is a bit complicated; it usually takes days to approach our Target Point.

Below is the picture of the movement of USDJPY Feb 15, 2008 23:04.

Inside blue box shows the last price range before US market open.  During market open, together with news adjustment, market was moving to another price range (Red Box).  And finally it moves within new market price.

Before and after Red Box is one of example for fundamental trader to make their transaction.  The regions of blue and white boxes are area for intraday trader.

Hi All Bros ..

Had been busy can't catch all of you ... Just read Mani's ebook.  I'm agree with Cashiern and Tabby.  It doesn't help a lot.   But just help you to shape your mentallity ... good for new comer .. but not helping for making a good trade.  If you want to follow it, you need a lot of money to prevent margin call, which is very risky game.

Let me share something for all forex bro, here ... since I need to relax for a while. Btw, this is what I got and have been practicing till now.

All bro, Please give me a vote ... If I have good vote, I will write my next article detaily ... Smiley

Basically you need to follow pattern that suit you.  You can interday trader or for longger period trader.  For the beginner, try to be interday trader, once you have enough money and confident with yourself, you can upgrade yourself accordingly.

For starting following this four Major Pair ... this for Major Pair is easier to be played and also have more influence than others.  USD/JPY, USD/CHF, EUR/USD, GBP/USD.

There is spread, means the difference between buy and sell to the pair.  Here are spreads for these pairs:

USD/JPY - 3 pips.   USD/CHF - 4 pips     EUR/USD - 2 pips   GBP/USD - 4 pips.

Basically you only need to master one pair only from those, because every pairs is interconnected one to others.  So one pairs will effect to others.  If the movement of thess four pairs are not syncronize, you need to analyse immediately fundamental news at that moment.

Trading Forex means you are deal with news.  That's why you need always watching the news.  I will tell you how to find the news and analyst the impact againts those pairs later .. ( if I got enough vote  Smiley) Playing this four pairs, you have been playing money arround the world, starting from Asia, Australia, Europe and United States.

USD/JPY usualy moves accordingly with USD/CHF and these pairs against EUR/USD and GBP/USD.  So we can use confirm market trend by watching these pairs.

For example, we want to know market trend for today, and we play USD/JPY ... we can look at USD/CHF to compare.   If both of them are moving upside, you can consider, trend is going up.  To confirm your analysis, you should see EUR/USD and GBP/USD are moving down.

Next -> Market Time and Relation between the Pairs  ...

(depend on number of vote I have Smiley  .... More vote .. more detail ... sorry bro ... I'm hunger of vote Smiley Smiley )
