On PM LHL 59,  taking in 11 out of 23 new candidates, 9 ministry changes their portfolio, three remain, one promoted to DPM, none other then Finance Ministry Tharman 54 yo,  taking on MOM ministry  job.

Action, more action liao, it speak louder then word. Look likely DPM Tharman may lead 2016 election charges manifesto and also a possible PM candidate, nearer to year..2020.

Deputy is likely from this most recently new batch of PMs, including Heng Swee kiat 50. Ministry for Education.

there's a positive uncertainty (hope) for singapore... the win in aljunied GRC by the opposition can mean that singaporeans are more  politically matured.. but that doesn't mean that in short term, singapore can gain economically..

sometimes, in order to  be politically matured  like in other advanced countries.. short term of financial downturn (like 5 years?) have to occur..

there is hope for singapore and singaporeans,  as the aljunied GRC victory not only woke up the PAP, but it also broke the psychological shield that GRC cannot be won, but it has been won! my first few outings back in singapore would definitely be going to the serangoon area to eat the famous shao rou )

Could it be that many were pro-opposition but when it came to the ballot box, they X PAPies?

I know of one such arsehole... he kept posting articles, status updates and the likes against PAPies... but when someone assumed he was voting for opposition he said his area did not have any good opposition.. His area is SDP, Holland GRC.

I am like.. what?!??!!?

As the dust settles, politicians and pundits alike say that the millions of pro-opposition blog postings, Tweets, YouTube video streams and Facebook 'likes' - a whopping 80 per cent of all Google searches in the month before Polling Day on May 7 were election-related - had not contributed significantly, across the board, to the swing against the PAP.

Politics in coming day. Ruthlessness, in order to achieve their aim.

Many die hard fans wired up here is proxy of internet savvy undertaker to politicians which, as according to google report, a million click for 80% against did not translate into a vote swing, only a vote swing of 6.5% against the ruling party.

Soup base changed already but whether the herb is changed, we need to wait and see.

Can believe his sincerity but not the PR BS statement on his 3 minister wanting to leave ?

So we finally found the weakness in the PAP, it is the crowd at rally and the loss GRC.

Also, as I mentioned before, ministers are  just figurehead in a ministry as the portfilio can be switch like a switch.

Note: Knowing Aljunied GRC is about to goes WP way....some how voters knew it. there for others is ensure their voice is heard, so vote swing is manageable down  by 6.5% to 60.1% and PM Lee AMK GRC  even got a big boost in vote.

On many key issues that concern many Singaporeans is --

The cost of living, on income  widening gap,  on CPF withdrawal age, on affordibilty of housing,  in education, healthcare for old folks and bottom wage earners and on young / not so young / old PMETs Vs foreign talent scheme and etc.

Teeth53 would like to thk: thk to all politicians for making it a posssibilities, thk PM Lee, err...thk to LKY for repenting, and

A special thk to Aljunied GRC, all Ali-juniess voters for, for carry out this burden and heavy social  responsibilities on behalf for all Singaporeans.

teeth53, I think Workers' Party has their own long term goals and strategy. Look at the bigger picture. We dunno what's going on internally there but I think Giam was possibly picked becoz of his youth and issues he can reach out to them with. I am speculating that with Gerald Giam they have a more balanced pool of reps for WP in Parliament. This is not so wrong a move leh.

If Eric Tan choose to go and  hang all the laundry in the public the moment things don't go his way.. then really, it's okie to let him go. You dont need this kinda member in  a team.

Remember, if their fight is for the people, and a First World Parliament... to voice the concerns of the people, then personal glory and ego should be cast aside. POSITION is personal glory/ego. Country & Party before self!!!!!!!!!!

The plight of Mr. Eric Tan, 50 yo,  who's bypassed by his own party such that the NCMP position is not offered to him--who  was bless to take  the lead of the WP battling for East Coast GRC all alone!

Instead the post is offered to the younger 34-year-old Gerald Giam.

So it's official that Workers' Party is age-ist? Mr. Tan is only 50,  barely 55 years old for next fight  & have been contributing to Workers' Party longer than Mr. Giam.

Yet, he's treated this way?! Dictatorship in the making....isit same as for RP..? (many also left.)

On LTK. The man whom said, will not be a NCMP, yet NCMP it's deem as very important to him

NCMP is a toothless post as per said by  Slyvia Lim  and WP party chief. LTK said he will not take it.

Hougang new WP-SMC  guy and the Aljunied GRC team  has get the meat in this election. I am really expecting it to happen to  all of them getting the meat and

Eric Tan only wants the bone but was rejected. The bone was offered to a young man Gerald which  both think will help them to fish for more votes in 2016..If Gerald is really that good, he should be in Aljunied A team or takeover Hougang..

Even the bone left, must be used as a pawn in order to  fish formore  votes.

Ruthless in coming day, in order to achieve  their aim.
