I'll give a miss. Maybe SIA is better.

BTW, WB never buys airlines. By probability, they normally lose money.

Prospectus just registered with MAS. It's the first IPO I've seen WITHOUT stating revenue, earnings and EPS CAGR for past 3 years. Only operational improvements are shown.

WHen I dug deeper into the numbers - shock shock horror horror !

Income Statement shows 2 out of 3 years net losses, with operating losses to boot for 2 years.

Balance Sheet shows net liability position - essentially insolvent. There is also a persistent net current liability position and accumulated losses. It's a terrible Balance Sheet, like watching a horror movie.

Cash Flow Statement shows -ve operating cash flows for 2 out of 3 years, and most of the "growth" was funded by financing cash flows.

Read the RISK FACTORS section of the prospectus carefully. Just based on those few pages, it's enough to tell people to AVOID. :?

Give the IPO a miss... Look at the rest of the listed budget carrier.. (all under perform)...

Tiger still need alot of cash for the new planes after this IPO still... Not much div for this stock... Need to wait very long to see good result

Unless temasek wants to push the stock, but cannot think of good reason for it to push the market value of Tiger at this point in time.. Risk for short term punt is high. (risk vs reward not favorable)

SINGAPORE, Jan 6 (Reuters) - Singapore's Tiger Airways has set an indicative price of S$1.35 to S$1.65 a share for its initial public offering to raise up to S$273 million ($195.7 million), according to a term sheet seen by Reuters.

Tiger, whose shareholders include Singapore Airlines (SIAL.SI) and state investor Temasek [TEM.UL], is selling about 30 percent of its enlarged share capital to raise funds for aircraft purchases and to pay off some of its debt.

Tiger's investment roadshow begins on Wednesday and the pricing of its share is scheduled to take place on Jan 16.
