Pls consider that it is a very real possibility that it will be range bound or head towards $0.50 in the afternoon.

With high inflation especially soaring food prices in China... it means food demand exceeded food supply... which mean to solve the problem, China Govt has to encourage high level of productivity in food productions while consumers look for other food alternatives.

China farmers now are very labour intensive which is not helping the situation. China Govt is promoting farm mechanization with special rebates for farm capital equipments like farming harvestors, prowlers and trucks. Farmers are increasing looking to mechanizations. One China stock that could benefit from sales of farm mechanization incentives is China Farm Equipment. A potential investment that could make $$$ this year.

Now, that's talk about food alternative especially pork which is now very expensive in China. Chinese people like to eat pork and now more and more people finding it less affordable and the much loved meat has also become less available too. Alternative to pork especially fishes which are good sources of healthy nutrients is a possibility. One of the world's largest fish supplier is Pacific Andes. Moreover, Pacific Andes also supply fishmeals which are foods consumed by pigs and poultries. Fishmeals prices are holding up well around the world and should be beneficial to Pacific Andes.

SALES volume plunge: Q4 2007 sales volume plunged 16.8 per cent year-on-year despite Q4's seasonal strength. While management attributed this to a slower production ramp at its new Chengdu plant and soaring inflation in China, we think inflation played a more critical role as it reduced real disposable income, and likely led to lower demand for premium-priced food staples.

Raw material prices are expected to stay high in the near term as a result of destruction of crops and live pig stock by snow storms.

To cope with the high raw material prices, management plans to negotiate for better pricing with suppliers and convince distributors to promote higher-margin products.

Cutting FY08-10 EPS estimates: We have cut our FY08-10 EPS estimates by 26.2-31.6 per cent on lower sales and margin assumptions, and higher selling and distribution expenses.

Maintain 'trading sell', with lower target price of $0.77 (from $1.14): Our target remains based on 12.0 times CY09 PE, a discount to Hong Kong peers but at a premium to Celestial ('outperform', $0.58, target price $1.20).

Despite the 19 per cent upside to our 12-month target price, we believe the market has not fully digested the Q4 2007 results. A lack of catalysts and potential negative newsflow suggest more downside for the share price in the near term. We believe the near-term risk-reward trade-off could become attractive only at around $0.58.

so Synear - $0.50 is not impossible. Prepare your position & stops. Sleep well - prepare to trade well!  

 

if target price is lower, it means selling will go down some more. i think much lower,....

 

CIMB today maintain Trading Sell but reduce TP from $1.14 to 77cts. Advice buy @ 58cts.

 

 

i think it will bounce back... it is oversold !

Prediction A: It heads towards the IPO price of $0.54 overshooting to "fibo 0.618" support level @ $0.50  before coming to rest @ $0.52 - supported by short covering.

 

At 0.615, chances are that there will be a brief rebound to around 0.63 before falling just below 0.6. Any other predictions?

 

Synear is at the critical price of $0.615 resistance- tomorrow will be an interesting watch.

$0.620 level fell away only after 55 trades. 

 

$0.620 now - one tick from all time low!

 

$0.63 resistance line is BROKEN!!!
