Thanks Easton Bay. It's a poket game. When fund manager wishes to sell, they will buy in at large quantity creating euphoria in the mkt. And when there are enough buyers for their large quantity, they let go all they have bought + their own holding that they intended to sell, letting the last fool to hold the baby. Likewise for the other way round. What I see is that they are FM not into the business. Why would they want to dump the share of a stable earning company? For one reason, they want to create pessimism in the mkt and collect them later. I am sure there is a reason why Unisteel reject the MOU with JC Metal. I will be vested soon! Cheers.

ideasa168, I think the slide started when a major investor/fund house reduced their holding. They sold over 7 million shares in the open market. It kinda sending -ve signal to retail investors and thus pushing px down..  as follows:

3. Circumstance(s) giving rise to the interest or change in interest # Others
  # Please specify details

4. A statement of whether the change in the percentage level is the result of a transaction or a series of transactions:

ideasa168, there is no other news except the MOU termination with JC Metal I know of. I agree, it could be overly stressed.

Hi Kilroy. I am looking at this counter as well. Earning quite consistent. Any idea why drop so much. Is it bcos of the drop out deal with JC Metal that the mkt punish them. If so, then it is overdone. I am keen in this counter too.

Dont stop!  Go down to the fullest extend so that we can buy it at a great discount.  I personnally think this is a good company - a regional leader in its niche area of percision engineering manufacturing.  Will wait for the buy signal when the trend reversed (SG stock market sux! Can only buy LONG. Have to short cover on the same day).

Our very own former Chief of Defense Force Lt-Gen (Ret) Ng Jui Ping is also the Director of Unisteel.

Majority of speculators seems to be shorting this counter.

Pls take care. Once result is out, things might be different,

Do not always go with the crowd. This is what happened in financial crisis.

When overall mkt is bull, do not ride on the bear.

Relying too much on TA is not a safe bet.

Those in contra pls be cautious. This counter is a bargain.

more room to extend southward.  The southward trend is still strong.  Are we looking at a 'fail to meet profit tgt expection' for this coming result annoucement? Anyone?

next support level is @ 1.60.
