Hey robert... creative keep falling leh...
Glad that my rap on ah sohs and aunties are appealing to some folks here. If you were to read it in retrospection it is actually a reflection of the incredible foolishness some ppl are practising. I tried to project it in a humourous way so that it won't be too boring. Cheers!
Thanks for the support Student. Entertaining post is still better then misleading post ya. lol! Gotta be careful when ppl say nasty things or good things about a stock... Coz they do it mostly from a point of herd instinct or emotions(greed & fear), a ticket to financial hell. Read through the forums and you will know what I am saying. Contrarian investor? Alot of ppl here tried to project themselves as a contrarian but from their discriptions you can clearly understand that they are just follow the herd. Sign. So whos the real contrarian? I don't brand myself as a contrarian, I only follow the truth. So when I disagree or approve something it's not that I am trying to go against the crowd, as Einstein has quoted, human stupidity is infinite.
However I feel creative is a good counter. Not for cowards/Novices who can't temporary see red in their portfolio.
Peace & Love
Robert

Creative's Nasdaq delisting plan minimal impact on share price |
Creative Technology says it intends to de-list from the Nasdaq Global Market because of the high cost of dual exchange listings. Creative, an MP3-player maker that competes against market leader Apple said it wants to delist from Nasdaq to save on costs and stop its U.S. reporting obligations while still maintaining its listing in Singapore. Its last trading day on Nasdaq is on the 1st of August. Creative cited its low trading volume in the U.S. and its higher volume in Singapore as reasons for the delisting. In any case, it said its Singapore-listed shares are accessible to U.S. shareholders. Market watchers say Creative Technology's planned delisting from Nasdaq will have minimal impact on the company's stock. But this may also lead other Singapore-based, U.S.-listed firms to exit trading in the U.S. OCBC's analyst, Carey Wong, said chip tester Stats Chippac may also follow Creative in delisting from Nasdaq. Stats Chippac has had low trading volumes on the Nasdaq, especially after Temasek Holdings recently bought nearly all its shares. OCBC has a Buy call on Creative with a price target at 8-50. |
What Creative need is a Steve Job. Do they do CEO swaps?
Strangely the news of delisting doesn't seem to interfere with its stock price.
The competitor has grown to an infinite size!
Maybe it takes more than just creativity to win the race?
'Hip' factor?...or Luck? or... ?
Delisting from Nasdaq can only mean that it will no longer have the capacity to fire into the moon lit night. No rocket fuel-Alamak, Ah Sim what happen?
Quotes:
Creative Technology Ltd intends to delist voluntarily from the Nasdaq Global Market, with Aug 1 being the last trading day for its stock, the firm said.
It said this was because of low trading volumes, substantial administrative overheads and reporting costs.
The delisting from the Nasdaq means the firm will be listed solely in Singapore.
How much money can they save from delisting?
