my view is that BBR will only move "slightly" to 20cents to 21 cents range after the 2nd quarter is out (if any). The profit for the first half will be reasonably good but I believe the real BIG MOVE will be only when BBR announced the launching of Nassim Hill, the profits from this project will be tremendous if the selling price psf is $3k or more. Likely to be more than less.......
Another pointer ..... isn't it all this while DC could have been build into the price consideration of our property ?
Whatever DC charge ..... isn't it developers will provide for at least a target profit margin, after taking into consideration all construction costs (including DC) ?
Developers should be able to work out their bottom line .....
sthpark72 .. I think overall construction sector already start to recover from the shock after the DC announcement yest.. and this should include BBR.. sooner or later..
But one thing to be aware of BBR... on top of its normal constructor role, BBR recently enter into property development sector also. Projects in Nassim Hill and Holland Hill are two examples of projects where BBR is also involved as developers. Though these two projects already started in early 2007, I'm not sure how the new DC rule will apply to them.

Increament in DC will only affect property sector directly as they are the one who need to pay more for developing the land.
Construction sector may not be affected by change in DC as they are normally only the builder, not developer. Unless the DC increase cause major drop in development projects, I dont see any reason on why construction sector (BBR.. CSC.. Yongnam..etc) will be hurt by this news.
News on DC charge not that bad afterall .....
Construction sector will recover soonest ..... because it's amongst the quickest drop .....

At this closing price, its really a bargain to load on BBR.
I was lucky to unload my stake at 17.5c this morning.
This market correction really sweep many off their feet, including me.
Buy BBR with huge lots if it break its all time high with volume.. Stocks of real potential..
guys, just want to update you all. Nassim Hill Freehold cluster housing will only be launched between sep to early nov. BBR will stay stagnant in this price range for the time being. I am separately getting a indication on the potential profit from this project which may push the stock price exponentially upwards. Currently, Price may push up slightly if the 2nd quarter result is reasonably good without factoring the millions from Nassim Hill. Depending on your time horizon, don't expect anything exciting to happen to this stock for the time being.If you want to make quickie money, better to move on to other stocks....
i see no point talking UP BBR when it is still at this level. I would rather BBR do the talking later. All I can say is that I like this counter and in for the long haul ie. till 2009 or latest 2010. I have put $220k at 7cents and taking a calculated bet this stock will surge to a level that I do not need to work for anyone for the rest of my life in 3 years' time. If it is for the short term, then I suggest to move to punt on Yongnam or CSC as I myself do not know when this stock will turbo charge upwards....
Cannot go holiday already...just came back from Europe last month.
Now waiting for BBR to fund me to go to another New 7 Wonders of the World...

u have to be patient with this counter
. Once it starts to row, it will be fast and furious. Go for a short holiday 
. Among the other counters of the same industry, this may not be the best but this is certainly one of the highest potential % gain in share price. So, stay cool and earn birdnest $$$.
sianz with this counter already....pull out with some kopi $$...finding other more exciting counters....sadly this counter will take alot to move

Really heartache when see other construction stocks on the boom but BBR is sitting around smiling at us...teasing us...haha...
