Hi kolslorr

Wrote this thread to caution fellow SJ participants not to be taken  in by GV's various deals.  In spite of its various deals, it shows a loss to date this year.  Has not lost buying this counter, but has been sitting on a "lame duck", and does not wish fellow participants to be stuck in the same ick mud as myself, that's all. Not hoping that GV will move because of my posting.  .

Halo I detected down trend.   Time to sell perhaps.  Since it's penny stock .. up 1 pip also good to make money.

Remember old saying .. little by little .. as long as it's money .. Smiley

Hi Pension

It seems that GV may take at least another one year (possibly three?) to move out of its sideway trading. How to "cheong" when the BBs  "manipulating"with this counter think they have all the time in  the world to do just that!(coz'  they seem confident that they can live past 85 years of age).

Hi Pension

Why cheong?  Raising bonds to finance its expansion can't be one of the catalysts for its to "cheong"..  Doubt GV would "cheong" within the next six months.  It may take three years down the road for GV  to "cheong" based on the sideway pace of trading that it has been going through.  By then, the BBs or FMs manipulating with GV might have gone back to Heaven. The new teams that take over may then go through the same motion as the predecessors. During the market boon, it did not "cheong"  How to expect it to "cheong". anytime soon. At best, it may crawl north. Agree?.

Hi Pensionmaster

Hope your guts' feeling that it'll recover comes true.   Though its mgt team has stressed that GV is grossly undervalued, no one seems to bother.  May be the BBs or FMs  behind GV are still waiting for many more next-of-kin (nok) of deceased investors (who are obliged to sell on behalf of the deceased for computation of estate duty payable)to sell to them at low prices  Coz at such low prices who will sell, except  nok or  financially strapped  investors.   Peter Lim,  the billionaire retail investor, recently said that so long as you are not cash strapped, you will be able to ride out the current storm, which is likely to be short-lived (It may end in October 2007 according to some experts).   It's not going to last for at least ten years, unlike the Asian Financial crisis which occurred  in 1997

Hi Pensionmaster

Though GV is undervalued, it has not attracted buying attention coz' it has been trading sideways for at least the past two years.  The BBs or FMs behind GV are just not hungry to make $$$ for their investors?  Many retail investors have already walked out on GV. R U still holding on to GV?  Pointless to hang on GV coz' it may take another two years for it to break out?

It has lots of confirmed biz..  However, there is no dollar value attached to its announcements of new biz.  I guess that why NO research house (check me if I am wrong) is unable to issue its recommendation on this stock.  Any comments from fellow SJ participants.  While the stock appears to be grossly undervalued, investors at large are not buying this share, nor is it subject to rotational play. While SJ participants had advised "patience" with this share, why must retail investors buy it when there are many other  promising ones?

GV  has been getting a lot of biz, yet it has been  trading sideways most of the time. BBs  sleeping or "squatting" down to collect shares at low prices?   Any SJ participant has any opinion why?

The following two links, pls read and it is self explanatory of GV potential. The stock now is dirt cheap and supported by cpf investment scheme. This one is a black horse with bright bright. 80% of their business is recurring, I think this company has good customer retention program.

hmmm...

I finished reading the report in detail.... seems like.... not as bad as I first read.... although still not good....

the numbers compare with 1H 2006, which is not a good one due to the 1 time gain of 9million.... tats why all the numbers look... disgusting....

GV is not a seasonal business... so i think if compare to 2H 2006, is still reasonable.... and if u take 2H 2006... it actually has.... a lot improvements....

revenue up 20%... net loss decrease by 38%... but... still loss... Confused Confused

Anyway.... i think its still ok... if got balls... maybe can still hold for another half year to see how... I might still hold and see...

The financial results for 1H2007 is out. Doesn't look good. Revenue dropped by 30% compared to 2006 1H. The report justified this by stating  "If infrastructure sales are eliminated from both periods and taking into account the revenues associated with discontinued operations (the sale of Knowledge Alive in November 2006), revenues have increased year on year by 20%."

Net loss is 4.3m pounds Smiley Don't know if i should sell off my 30lots. Bot them at high of 21cents.
