Key Highlights:
• Cash earnings1 of S$13.9 million for the quarter
• Distribution payouts underpinned by steady cash flows

Singapore, 11 August 2009 – CitySpring Infrastructure Management Pte Ltd (“Trustee-
Manager”), the Trustee-Manager of CitySpring Infrastructure Trust (“CitySpring”), today
announced the results for CitySpring for the first quarter ended 30 June 2009 (“1Q
FY10”).
CitySpring achieved cash earnings of S$13.9 million for the quarter, marking a good
start for the financial year with its three assets performing to expectation and generating
stable cash flows. A distribution per unit (“DPU”) of 1.75 Singapore cents has been
declared for the quarter.http://info.sgx.com/webcoranncatth.nsf/VwAttachments/Att_265B1155C69AB1E34825760F0047CE3B/$file/Press_release_1QFY10.pdf?openelement
In this environment, no news is good news!
The current px depression is seen by the Market that the A$ depreciations could affect the earnings of Cityspring.
On the brighter side, cheaper fuel px could boost the earnings (although may not be enough to offset the A$ Dprn). But at 60c means the yields in relations to DPU is surely better than before.
Long term perspective is still good ! Cheers!
Any good news coming.
Pls check your figures, I think its 3 zero too many.
paying too much for previous acquisitions, goodwill/intangible ~473m, far exceed the equity. If based on NTA, it is also negative $$$.

This one is looking for acquisition? Must have deep pocket and strong parent.
CitySpring Infrastructure Trust – sponsored by Singapore investment company
Temasek, is seeking buys worth over $1 billion but said asking prices were still too
high. 'We're on the negotiating table for a number of opportunities but valuations
are too high. Holders of good assets are not yet coming down to a value we find
reasonable,' CitySpring chief executive Au Yeung Fai told Reuters in an interview
yesterday. The trust was not in a desperate need to acquire, and would rather
walk away from deals rather than overpay, Mr Au Yeung said, adding that some
deals were as much as 30 per cent above what he was prepared to fork out.
CitySpring wants to buy assets such toll roads, ports, and power firms in countries
including China, India, and in South-east Asia, and with two-thirds of the
opportunities reviewed worth under $1 billion and a third worth over $1 billion.
CitySpring shares closed at $0.71 yesterday, down half a cent.
