Hi guys,, need some advice here.

vested at 2.40 because of the dividends + rights ( 2  for 1)

How much upside from this level before x date?

per annual report  1.55 asset value backing this share.

Now the big question here , to take the dividend or go for the rights .

Using 10 lot  at 2.40 as for discussion ( after exercise rights / 30L - average price 1.05)

wat will be the x date price and is this a good counter to hold ?

Investsmart, tks for your detailed explanation dated 3 Apr, good post

how do the entitled shareholders choice their option?

is it correct that a form will sent to them to confirm if they go for either Dividend or Right shares ? Which option in your opnion is better ?

On 2 April, UOB Kay Hian set a 12 month target price of $2.44 and encouraged shareholders to take-up the placement shares.

guess you guys are right.  P/E should be 20 and not 200.

the Shares Investment magazine April issue (not Share Investor site) appears to be wrong.

on comparing the figures in the magazine and the company's annual report, the EPS should be

10 cents and not 1 cent. that would give a P/E of 20 and not 200.

good luck to those vested, i'll still wait and watch.

figures quoted From shareinvestor site: EPS = 0.10670 PE = 20.244 From UOB research report: EPS = 0.107 PE = 20.1 From financial statement: EPS = 0.1067 PE = ~20.244 (Based on price $2.16) Different calculation methods for EPS?

it appears the P/E figure im looking at appears to be different from yours.
im going on P/E based on the numbers given in latest version of Share Investor magazine.

Earning per share is given at 0.01 $ so if you take price of $ 2 / 0.01 = 200 .
P / E = Price you pay for the share / Earnings you can expect from the share.

each person has their own opinion on what Price they are ready to pay for a share.
i did find LKH rights issue attractive but then looking again at P/E , I have decided to
wait and watch from sideline.

good luck

Net Asset is $1.47 and PE ratio is 4.9 based on share price of $2.15.

These data clearly indicate that there will be more upside.

I understand the PE for this stock is 4.9.

What's meant by 200 times its PE???  Sorry...  I'm not really that conversant in Stock terminology.

not vested in this counter.
yes the rights does look good but pls look at the P/E for this stock its 200 times its P/E.
most counters in SGX normally trade at between 16 to 20 times their P/E.

The shareholder does not need to pay anymore, since the special dividend is sufficient for the cost of the rights share.  So it means if you have 10 lots, you will receive another 20 lots if you choose the option of the rights and still gain the 2.5cts dividend.

No, LKH is not splitting it share.

Entitled Shareholders will be given an option to elect to utilise all or part of their Net Special

Dividend to subscribe for the Rights Shares that are provisionally allotted to them. For

illustrative purposes only, an Entitled Shareholder who holds 10,000 Shares as at the Books

Closure Date will be entitled:

(a) to receive a Net Cash Dividend of S$0.7585 in respect of each Share (comprising a

Net Ordinary Dividend of S$0.0205 and a Net Special Dividend of S$0.738), which

amounts to S$7,585 (comprising Net Ordinary Dividends of S$205 and Net Special

Dividends of S$7,380) that is receivable by him; and

(b) to accept his provisional allotment of 20,000 Rights Shares at S$0.369 each, which

amounts to S$7,380 that is payable by him.

Such Entitled Shareholder may elect to utilise his Net Special Dividend of S$7,380 to

subscribe for his provisional allotment of Rights Shares in full, in which event he will receive

20,000 Rights Shares and Net Ordinary Dividends of S$205. No cash outlay will be required

of him.
