yes Macau as a whole is doing very well, yes! Of course! Macau has become largest casino by revenue...we all know that. Question is:  how much of that is attributable to SC? The important thing to note is how much... sc is only taking a minority stake in only ONE of SH's development.  Even SH is feeling the heat with more foreign players entering Macau.

Nobody is saying SC WILL sink. Some of us are just cautioning others who are considering SC to be more careful with it and advices doled out by those who are already vested. It is natural for those who are vested to be passionate about their holdings and decisions, and not to mention to be overly optimistic.

Should SC sink, the BBs and small boys will all be drowned together. Possible for BBs  to want to perish in the sea to feed the sharks.  No worry, men!  With the prospects of a fast turnaround with its Macau investment, SC will not sink as is being hinted by other SJ participants.

You guys are living in the cage. Macau has became the world lagest casino by revenue. Dont underestimate SC.

SG IR is just like a kid playing sand at the seaside, dont even know what their future will like.

even if there's a 3rd license, SC will NOT/NEVER be part of it, unless they clear all ties with you-know-who in Macau. See the all out effort by garmen to be 100% sure SHo has nothing to do with the 2 IRs.

Unless you are already stucked, there's really no reason to be optimistic.

I agree with Waterfall,   unless someone have insider info on SC ..

It ,s  better to put your money in construction sectors,  you can find shares at around that 0.16 to 0.35

How can SC be fundamentally sound when it suffered $100 million losses last year ?  It has to review its profit model and quickly get the Macau casino project off the ground. Otherwise, its bleeding lossess will only cause haemorrhage to the co.

Hikitty

I agree with u 100%.

Take SPC,it is FA sound but not preforming well.STE is also not fantastic.Just ask Victorian,he thinks SPC will be like S$4 a share kind of thing when it goes ex divvy.

Hikitty, believe in ur judgement, and ignore all the other noises.

Thanks Shplayer for the learned response .  There are other fundamentally sound shares that are still underperforming the market.  SC is "fundamentally" sound, but is a victim of circumstances beyond its control.  Breakout seems imminent, based on the volumes for the past few trading sessions?

hikitty,

Reference my post in this thread of 8 Mar 07.......at the end of the day, the market will always fall back to the fundamentals.

Sometimes its better to take the bitter pill than keep having the problem hanging around.

Just a friendly advice......no response/reply needed.

SC  has been shipwrecked again today.  Shocking - can't even perform better than  penny stocks of China-listed companies.  It has defied TA and FA , and certain brokers' expectation to remain a "second-liner" stock.  According to Hulumas, "hyper-long" hold (3 years?) for SC to reach a new peak - it's a matter of "time"  ?

Thanks Hulumas for being very encouraging.   Yes, most counters will recover from a low to a new peak - it's a matter of time (1 year to God knows when).  SC has been gyrating for the past seven years from 18cts to 335 cts.  Hope your intuition that it will run soon comes true.  SC's profitability shd improve coz' of its new investments.
