ok lah, I give layman terms. When you were 6 yrs old do you think your "little brother" is only fixed at that length? Until you reach 10-12 yrs old then you realise that there is more length and use then what you saw earlier...

i think as long as buying over GT pockets more money for Temasek , why not? GT can be STAT's second choice of marriage since STAT's has spurned the offer. Maybe UTAC can be second choice. Any Match-making service out here?
Agreed, Global Test factory is not in S'pore. However, I do agree that the price will go up further. Speculative ??? I doubt, I would think is the accumulation phase for many.
there is no reason for temasek to buy GT as there is no synergy to benefit spore.
i think it is more of speculative play.
