erm, with regards to my posting dated 11 july 2007, at 17:16, pls take note that the statement is not an inducement to do any buy/sell actions.. the postings is purely my own views and please do your own necessary homework before buying/selling this counter.. thanks.
to me hunting for reit stocks i go by the same mindset and that is Wan Cheap, Wan Green, Wan Big B**bies hahahaha..... and i hv found a few below.... but as if they got big b**bies i not sure yet lar :P
later this year will have more reits coming up and i wonder will it get too saturated with reits trading on sgx in future?
in my opinions, there are quite a few property counters and reits being "affected" by some statements being made and also partly of the market sentiment (cannot recall bt i think i saw that statement in Edge ba).. and yes, cambridge is one of the "higher yield" lucrative reit counter.. if can collect some more at below $0.90, it will be very attractive as the recent dividend payout did not "factored" in the recent acquistions.. more dividends coming liao.. heavily in this counter..
Another of my favorite (I wonder if sohguanh basket of stocks is similiar to mine) which I picked it up early days. I have not unload it even though it throttle to its all time high in recent JUNE trade sessions.
Its on a trend reversal now so I am looking to park more cash into this - High Div Yield stock.
Some house issue a TP of $1.07 for Cambridge for it's recent frenzied acquisition. at current price of $0.92 i believe it is a good deal. the rest of investors will juz have to judge for themselves :)
It seems red color maybe the norm for the next few weeks or even months so the correct strategy now is to diversify some of your capital into those REIT-like stock to secure stable regular income distribution. At least they should give better rates than FD outside. Anyone disagree? :P
rogue_trader: i only know of this stock today so i whack in. i am now targetting MIIF which provide quite a good yield too. Babcock&Brown and company invest in too risky components for my liking despite providing very good yield. Invest in music copyrights licence can make monies? hmmmm.... i still prefer the traditional assets like buildings and infrastructure hahahha :P
targetted acquistions of $500million for Year 2007.. good for long term as per wat i had mentioned many times earlier.. heavily vested.. hehe, dividends lai...
This CIT is amazing. They have acquired about 6 industrial buildings in the span of 1 month for Jun 2007? It's next quarter yield should be better with more revenue coming in. Load it up before it crosses the $1 mark based on the rate they acquire assets at such a frentic pace!!!! Vested for pure dividend yield!

Phillips Sec has a write up and issue a "BUY" today.
hmm... capital group buying. owning 6% liao.
anyway think this is a good stock, good dividends, acquisitions ongoing, and also rumour of M&A :)
starfire, i can't comment for much in the short term movement of this counter as now market very "irrational". But for long term wise, yes.
REITS has recovered well during the last correction. It seems that the take up rate for rental space continue to proves to be a sustainable revenue. I am vested in Cambridge and A-REIT for their high dividend too. :). These days with FD and SIBOR rate hitting the lows again, I need to look for new 'parking lots'. :)
Rogur Trader,
U think its on a possible uptrend now ?
Firstly, there was this correction since last week so the drop in prices. Secondly (if I not wrong), there was some information somewhere (last year) that they might be issuing new units to fund future acquisitions in the 1st or 2nd quarter 2007. Good counter to long, especially for the "price effects" after July 2007.
