According to ACNielson, SPH advertising revenue will shrink. Any comment?

People may be buying to keep for the year end dividend which is usually more than 15cents per share. Last year it give out 19 cents per share.

 

It had been frozen quite sometime. Farm had advised AK to house this burger last week. Today vol is high. Any impending news released? If yes, can incubate few? All Sifus around, pse advise loh.

SPH is going to some new business which is yet to secure.... so the growth is limited.... => current valuation is expensive....

as there is nothing to shout after sky@eleven and Paragon upgrading ... unless... SPH redevelop its HQ into a condominium ....

SPH seems to be holding very well despite the DOW - 206 points. Really a defensive stock.

Investor seems to be concern about its ability to pay out good dividends after their propose tie-up investment with Open-net whereby itshare 25% stake. With the total investment cost to be well over $4b and even with Govt $750m subsidy, it will come to ~$800m. Does it have the cash?

My view is that they are in the process of finding buyers for their stake in M1 & Starhub for divestment. Buy on weakness esp. below $4.30?

 

The elephant seems to be moving southward.... any reasons?

 

Regarding the latest dividends payout...as long as u buy-in on or before 29 April 08, u should get your $ on 21 May, otherwise check with your broker(the earn commission thus, should help u in it).

Hmm.....this elephant seems weak after the CD, good time to accumulate more. It still have M1 & Starhub shares and also pair up with Singtel's team for U-broadband service....what's on its card?
