Hankore jumped to $0.042 before settling higher but below the high on 23 Nov with high volume. There was no sign of contra players forced selling the following week. A similar pattern happened again a week or so later. Again, no selling pressure but just sign of patient and consistent accumulation at $0.036 and $0.038. The current band of $0.042-$0.044 is a comfortable and progressive step up. I believe it will stay in this band for a while until further news such as increased in water tariff or new projects or updates of Bank of America Merill Lynch assessment report. In the meantime, any sign of accumulation, consolidation and lack of selling pressure or well absorbed selling pressure are signs of serious interested 3rd party. Selling to them at open market price now may be unwise.
One question for this announcement:
the Company has engaged Bank of America Merrill Lynch......
Why here is company but not the third party?
Does it mean that share holders will pay Merril if the transaction can not be proceed?
It will affect hankore's  annual report next year.

If you have held some of the stock at much higher price, then it is a good move to buy some at current price to average down. I still believe that Hankore is a recovery stock and I'm still looking forward to every fri evening for any positive announcement from Hankore.
I am not increasing my stake anymore ....Neither am I selling at a loss....
I'm comfortable with my holding of 5k+. Beware the biggest enemies of good investment - greed and fear. Over exposed or regret are often their cousins. Good luck !

I'm not selling.
Got played out?   Those who bought below 40 cents are taking profits first, I think.   Fundamentally is it good?   Think it is worth a n investment even at 5 cents.   Boustead has got a big stake, so they know better.

Hi Lucky..
think SSH like UBS and Shah capital had higher averages and David, I think he had shares while a director with the old management before he took over. Sp i guess. 10 cts to let go is not easy for them.

For those who have held this stock for the last 3-5 years, it crashed from $1.30 to current pathetic $0.035. However, we have to be realistic that the current shareholders do not have the baggage and they may find worth cashing out as you suggested $0.20. On the other hand, they are genuinely interested in this firm for long term and hence not cashing out but rather bring in another big and strategic investor for expansion and growth over global footprint and hence will still maintain a significant holding after the anticipated transaction and leaving Hankore listed rather than taking it private. That being the case, Hankore long term prospect may even be brighter and not surprise to see it returning to above $1. Afterall, there are only 3 water treatment firms remaining listed today.
The Executive Chairman, Chen Dawei, David took over Bio-Treat at probably above $0.08 and the rights were called around at $0.04 at 1 rights per share closed 23 Dec 2010 and the price was already trading around $0.05-$0.07 around the period. I would say that the ave price per share may be around $0.06-$0.08 per share for him and probably some of the major investors that joined him. Factoring in the much healthier fimancial position and that it has turnaround from loss to profit, recent increases in water tariff, new plants being ready processing more treated water and more to come, better prospects with new Govt focus on environmental protection, cost of money and reasonable profit for him and the large investors, I'll be surprised if they are interested for any offer less than $0.10 although the valuation may arrive at that price.
Whoever interested party (or insiders) may have accumulated a fair bit over the last few months around $0.035-$0.04 as most of you and me were not selling. Hankore issued the disclosure as part of staying transparent in providing timely info and also to urge small investors not to dispose off our shares to cash in quick profit and may affect their bargaining power. Current share price being traded will also affect valuation.

Perhaps the above that I posted earlier may offer some ideas of what we can look forward to. Probably 'worst case' around $0.08, likely $0.10-$0.16 and optimistically around $0.20.
