Tycoon Oei Hong Leong raises stake in Raffles Education Corp
Multi-millionaire investor Oei Hong Leong has become a substantial shareholder of private-education provider Raffles Education Corp. On Sept 12, he purchased 11.55 million shares at 32.6 cents each on the open market, increasing his direct stake to 4.9%. A day later, Oei scooped up another 8.8 million shares directly and through Oei Hong Leong Art Museum, bringing his direct and deemed interest to 5.9% and 1.3%, respectively.

yrs back when they r in edu buz the share price reflect the real financial situation now? this one is already downgrade by me to a speculative stock......try using TA for this one.

What strategies ??Management commentary FY2013Q1
The Group has seen its PRC revenue declining and is expected
to continue to be affected by the challenging operating conditions in PRC.
However, the Group has been repositioning and implementing new strategies in
PRC. (What strategies ??)
The Group is also continuing to see positive outcomes from its expansion strategy in the Ex-PRC
region.
The performance this quarter included the gain on
disposal of the 118 mu of investment properties in OUC amounting to S$18.3
million. In the absence of this disposal gain, the Group’s performance would be
adversely affected. We do not expect further disposal of investment properties
in this current financial year. Nevertheless, should opportunities arise, the
Group will consider divesting its non-core assets to realize returns on investments.

And Raffles Edu (non-right counter) < per lot> is selling at 0.39.
The profit is $150 right ( excluding deduction of broker fee).
