opps pai sei, want to put 0.328 billion RMB , tt's roughly 60 million SGD for restricted bank deposits!
It is 382M RMB laaa......Still zero debt, so far still good.
Profit up 9% y-o-y ....still tiny.

nope. had to work! 1st quarter result out! lower profit margin due to PRC government inflationary control. Overall still profit of RMB 6.266 million. Their restricted bank deposit is getting fatter! at RMB 3.82 billion. so much cash!

Companies should report result ASAP after the closing Q. As a rule of thumb, good companies generally report < 1mth after closing Q. OK companies > 1mth and < 2 mths. Bad companies takes more than 2 mths.
Unifood is an investor unfriendly company. So you guage by how they do things lor.....that all.....
If even cannot report results properly......then you can forget........

how does this affect Unifood in anyway?
Unifood start to pay 2% DIV based on 7cts or 0.00132 cts.....yes very pathetic.....what to do ? Vested.
And OK company report FY results between > 1 and < 2 months after closing Q.
There you are :
a) Pay 0.00132cts or 20% of net profit.
b) Closing Q on Dec31 and report on today 28Feb 2011.
I will keep it abit longer.

Usually, this happen when it is due to announcement FY results. Should be end Feb.......again it maybe another things, as volume is much higher (2~4K compare with today 12Klots) and price jump.
